[ As many wacky and amazing things have happened on the Plane in the past, this is perhaps an entirely new one. There is a kitten, not old enough to be a cat yet, but certainly out of his fuzzbutt stage by now. He wears a red bandana tied around his neck and seems to be giving the Plane a very uninterested inspection. ]

This is new. Maybe I'll drag Jowd or Missile out here sometime, see what they think of it.

[ The kitten begins trotting around, eventually spotting a very comfy-looking chair in the middle of the nowhere space. He hops up, tries a few positions on the seat, then jumps from arm to back and settles himself there. ]

View is great, though. I can see for ages up here... not that there's all that much to see. What is this place?

[ After a few moments, the kitten closes his eyes. The chair begins to rattle, and the cat rolls off the back of the chair onto the seat in a flop of graceless limbs. Sissel, now possessing the chair, pauses. ]

Oops. Should have realized that would happen. At least it's peaceful around here.

[ ooc; Sissel will speak to people! He just doesn't actually have the capability to communicate unless he specifically engages it first, and then you end up in a talking-is-a-free-action zone when he does. ]

[Blondie? Been a while since someone called him that name. He scritches at the back of his neck.]

It's supposedly inside a Machine, but I couldn't tell you if that's true or not. Everyone just calls it that. It's sort of like... a place between worlds. Usually world-jumping takes a lot more than just thinking about it, but this place is special.

[themystery]

A machine between worlds? Sounds like a mystery to me. What do you mean, just thinking about it? Is that what happened?

[otherness]

If you think about going home, you will. It's easier to do it than explain it. And then you can come back by thinking about the Plane.

[themystery]

Think about it, huh...

[ With no further ado, the kitten disappears. He comes back a few minutes later, grooming his paw. ]

That was interesting. No one noticed I was gone. Time doesn't move here?

[otherness]

[Roxas is still there. In the meantime he's found a bowl of popcorn. Awesome.]

Nope. If you're pressed for time, it's a good place to regroup and think about things.

[themystery]

[ Is there a popcorn machine around here or something? Talk about handy. Meanwhile, Sissel isn't very enthused about the time-stopping part since that's a thing he already has access to in his own, unique way. ]

Are there a lot of people here? Or is it just us?

[otherness]

There's a lot of people... [He thinks about when the power went out.] At least two dozen. Some have been here longer than others, but it's hard to tell because there's no clocks or anything.

[themystery]

That would make it pretty hard to keep track. Two dozen is nothing to sneeze at, either...
