{Diva appears on the Astral Plane, looking quite cheerful} Ah~ Finally Nathan and Amshel listened to me! This home is so much nicer. I never did like moving, but going from the noisy city to this peaceful estate~♥ I couldn't have asked for anything better. It's lovely. A big white house with a forest all around~ Ah, and Amshel even made sure to plant those blue roses. I really love it. ♥

My Chevalier have already settled in, too, I guess. They're already fighting with each other. My Chevalier think that I don't know what they do. Down below, I can smell Solomon's blood. He must have done something really bad. Poor, poor Solomon~ But I think it's James that I really need to worry about.

{She imitates his voice perfectly to repeat what he said, deep and masculine} "Those who do not kneel to Mama do not deserve to exist in this world."

{But then softly} At least Nathan stopped him before he went to do something stupid...What a fool. I don't have hardly any Chevalier left, it wouldn't do for him to go and get killed by sister.

Oh, and before I forget, I'd like to speak to those twins~ It'd be very much appreciated. ♥

You know my Chevalier too well, then. But I stayed with him for a little. His wrists will heal quickly and he'll get the blood back before long.

[frowns, looking her over carefully] What is it, Diva?

[didorothy]

You're being very cold about it.

Because even though I let him go, Solomon still loves Saya.

[didorothy]

I wouldn't expect that to change in a moment.

[madamemoiselle]

But it's still awful! Solomon was my favorite...My loyal, handsome, and gentle Chevalier. He shouldn't have gone to Vietnam to watch Karl. It was only a party where he met her, and just like that, I lost Solomon.

Saya already has Haji and Ri--Well, no, not that one anymore.

[didorothy]

Maybe he's not lost forever.

No, Solomon is lost. If Solomon goes to Saya, sister will kill him. Solomon still has my blood, and Saya still hates us all. But he won't stay with me. If Solomon leaves, then only Amshel, Nathan, and James will be left.

...I'm losing my Chevalier, Sam. Karl is gone, and Solomon is going to leave next.

Can't you do anything to stop him? Convince him to stay?

[madamemoiselle]

I don't know what I could do. Solomon doesn't love me anymore, and he doesn't want to stay.

[didorothy]

Wish I could talk to him. Wonder if I could...

Diva? Do you love him?

{Has to think about it for a moment}...No. Not anymore. But my Chevalier are important to me either way. If I don't have my Chevalier, then there's no one else in the world, my world, that'll stay with me.

[didorothy]

[frowns for a very long time, trying to come up with some sort of solution. Even working in in the force for so long, he still likes to think that most problems have answers]

What if... maybe you and Solomon should... talk. I know, I know, it sounds stupid. But you - you and Solomon, do you ever talk? About what you both want, what you both need. Not... anything cruel. [because as much as he likes to pretend, he does know Diva has her sadistic streak] Not hurting him, not him hiding things from you. I'd bet he doesn't tell you everything. Maybe you two need a good relationship counsellor.

...God, that does sound stupid.

Talk? No...Solomon and I don't talk. My Chevalier and I, we never talk. It's always been that my Chevalier will stay with me until they die, so there's never been a need to talk about things like that. Ne, Solomon...Solomon doesn't tell me anything. None of my Chevalier do.

{Whimsically} Ah~ But why should they? Ne, they probably think there's no need to trouble me with their business, no reason to treat me as anything other than their Queen. I'm not worth that to them~ I never have been.

{She does smile, though} But a relationship counselor? That's a job? Who knew~

Then maybe you should open up a dialogue with - [checks himself] What I mean, maybe you should start talking to him. How can you love someone you don't even know?

How can I love him? {Giggles}

Because Solomon has said that he loved me before. Not in any time that would really count, but~ Solomon is my lover. ♥
Sam might not understand a thing like that, or I would at least guess, but Solomon and I, we love each other for shallow reasons. Even if he loves Saya, Solomon is still a man, ne?

That's not love.

...It's not? But it's {Quick change} Sam, why is it not?

[didorothy]

It's lust, base sexual attraction. Love involves... attatchment, affection, caring... It's... well, I wouldn't say 'more' - actually, I would - but it's... Sex between two people isn't any sort of loving unless those two people love each other. [clearly not used to explaining this sort of thing] Do you understand?

[madamemoiselle]

Well...no, not really. Sam, I don't understand things like that.

[didorothy]

Well, it's like... [takes a step forwards, then stops, steps back. He looks a bit taken aback, but he quickly slips back into Pontificating Mode. Rather Confused And Not Particularly Eloquent Pontificating mode, certainly, but Pontificating Mode none-the-less]

It's... Well, it's semantics, but it's not - you said you loved me. But it's not that you 'love' me the way you say you and Solomon 'love' each other. Because that's not about love so much as it's about the pair of you getting mutual sexual gratification. [runs a hand through his hair]

{Tilts her head slightly} What was that? You stepped forward.

Ne, but Sam, it's still not...exactly the same. I love Sam. And I love Solomon, but differently. But I would have sex with Sam. But it's still different?

[didorothy]

You'd ha - [right, okay he'll ignore that. Filter: on] You do love Solomon?

Not the same way as Sam. I love Solomon because he's my lover, protects me, but they're shallow things. I love Sam more than that. Sam doesn't need to do anything like that for me to love Sam. That's different.

{Smiles~} But I would, yes.
