[and ohshit! this guy moves really fast and Gene doesn't have much of a chance to do anything other than a feeble attempt at side-stepping, which just leaves his arm open for the attack. which is pretty gruesome, considering the Master rips Gene's arm off just above the elbow. and Gene goes down, screaming and grabbing at the stump, trying to hold it close to stem the blood flow while also fumbling for his gun, cause he's a copper and that's what he does]

[watches in horror because good fucking God he just ATE HIS ARM but he's lost too much blood and he can't feel anything, not to mention his vision is going. and he wants to say "Go to hell, you Goddamned bleedin' faerie" or "I hope you choke, you nonce bastard" and leave all macho-like cause damnit, he's the Gene Genie, but he can't make his mouth form the words and instead he just gasps and chokes, unable to even grab his gun to take a shot at the bastard that killed him. because Gene Hunt? has just died, and lies sprawled on the ground at the Master's feet, arm still tucked protectively beneath him as the life twitches out of him. his eyes remain open.]
