[Gaheris is finally feeling up to another visit to the Plane. For him, it's not been that long since he was stripped of his memory and forced into bed with a fresh Magog corpse, so it's rather a miracle that he's decided to make the brave step back. Rationally, its because if the Plane can do this, there's a chance that he could use it to get rid of the Magog. It's the last potential for success that he has left; if he doesn't rebuild the Commonwealth and defeat the Magog, there will be no more universe where he's from...

It's one hell of a motivator.

So again Rhade comes onto the Plane, noting that it's considerably colder than usual- something that's concerning to him as any change is suspicious, but he's nothing if not adaptable and he zips up his jacket.

Maybe if he can't find medical technology, he can find helpful technology that'll at least let Harper see the Magog defeated before the ones inside of him finally take him.]

[Morgana has wrapped fur around her shoulders against the cold. On seeing Rhade, she remembers their time playing guard for each other. She approaches him with a hesitant smile. He had been kind, and frightened, and it's that last part that makes her hesitate. She hates that others had seen her in a moment of weakness. Others might feel the same.]

We never did exchange names, did we? I am Morgana.

[He raises a brow at the name, and tucks his hands primly behind his back. He doesn't seem to have an intention to ignore her, but he's not going to mention the circumstance they met under specifically.]

We were lacking them to give, I believe. I'm Gaheris Rhade of the Majorum Pride.

[Fortunately, the mythology is distorted enough that Morgana has never met any Gaherises before.]

I just wanted to thank you. And I also wanted to ask... has there been anything appearing in your world that shouldn't be there?

[He looks faintly curious.] Unusual sounds, but I've noticed nothing out of the ordinary. [Because he doesn't go to hydroponics as much as he should- he hides in his room or on the Bridge, still sulking over the lady he lost and the friend he killed.

The Plane, outside of necessary missions, has been his largest distraction lately.]

[She smiles.] Never mind, then. It's probably nothing.

Well, my lady, I believe I owe you at least one investigation. [The universe does not take well to unpaid debts, that much he's learned for certain.]

[Morgana shakes her head, dismissing it.] Some strange plants have begun to appear around Camelot. I wondered if perhaps it might be a merger, but it is always difficult to find who they may be from.

You might be right. I know very little about Earth plants, assuming that's where you're from. Probably most of the ones you have are extinct now, in my time.

A merger? [He is curious though.]

[She is curious about his time, if most plants of Earth are extinct. Her time here has made her more accustomed to the massive differences across the worlds.] Have you never had a merger before?

No. I'm not even quite aware of how they work. [But from the way she describes the plants appearing, he has at least a faint idea.]

It is said to be some facet of both emotion, whether dislike or affection, and time, as in time spent together. It reflects a relationship's progression, you might say. That is at least how I have come to understand it.

[Perhaps something that could eventually be used to his advantage? He didn't know. He was no stranger to manipulating affection to achieve a means to an end, but in recent months it became increasingly difficult for him as he relied on counsel from a dead man.]

I believe I would like to see, if you're capable of showing me.

[Morgana considers it for a moment, but then nods.]

Stay here a moment?

[She disappears from the Plane, returning a moment later with some clothing from the armoury. She holds it out to him.] Put this on. I'll take you to see one of the points of merger.

Give me a moment. [Internally he has a quiet fannish moment as he realizes he's about to put on actual period clothin, but he maintains his resolve as he leaves and returns shortly, appropriately dressed for her world.

And just ignore that he brought his own sword.]

[Morgana glances at the sword, but assumes that Rhade must be from a world that uses them regularly. She does not realize she has a fanboy on her hands.]

If anyone asks, say that you are a wandering soldier from Essetir. It should serve. [She offers him her hand.]

[Something he wouldn't mention. He glances down at her hand, wondering why she's offering it, before he realizes probably what he has to do and takes it in his own.] I'll make a note of it.

[In a moment, she has pulled him through to Camelot. Stone walls, that distinct smell of medievalism, and the clamour of voices outside and around. It is a busy castle. Morgana measures where she is.] It's this way. [Releasing Rhade's hand, she starts off towards the tower that has merged with Menzies's reality.]

[It takes him a moment to be able to follow. This is his first time doing this, so he has to stop and look around, sniff, touch his surroundings to confirm that he's really there. That it's tangible. But it doesn't take him long, and then he's following her.]

Can everyone do this?

[She waits, keeping an eye out for anyone who might wonder what the hell is going on with that weird dude touching stuff.] As far as I know, yes, we all can. You just won't be able to come back here on your own if you return to the Plane.

[Thankfully once he's done he's at least confirmed that it's a satisfactory illusion if nothing else, and he moves to follow her. He can't quite work out of that military stance as he comes along.]

I'll have to remember that if I'm caught in another Magog battle- that's what was in my bed, by the way.

Those... things are your enemies?

Those things are everyone's enemies, just the majority of the population is so moronically short sighted that they're unable to anticipate what's coming for them. I've been warning them and they insist on standing their ground. Even rats know how to get off a sinking ship. [He scoffs because he's so very annoyed by it all.]

Are their lords not able to defend them? [WAY TO FAIL YOUR DUTY, RULERS.]

Not if they don't work together. There are whole armies of them. They attack in overwhelming numbers with little concern for their own safety, and therefore no hesitation.

[And the world ship is kind of horrifying.]

[That is pretty much the most terrible thing ever.] Such a foe seems unstoppable.

Yes, they do. [But he leaves it at that, forgetting his surroundings for a moment because he's pulled back from a fantasy into a world that he can't do anything. Fantasies are much easier to deal with.

At least he's quieter as he comes along.]

[The tower that they walk up is very medieval. But the window they look out to is Manchester in the late 20th century or early 21st. She indicates the disparity] This is from a connection I have with a friend.

[Things were odd already, but he stops by the window and stares out it in confusion.]

That's Earth before the Magog destroyed most of the cities- [he says in realization.]

[Now Morgana is very alarmed.] They destroyed the Earth?

Most of it. A lot of other worlds, too. [He glances back out the window, staring at people before they knew anything like that could exist.]
