[1007 was in her room, and was content to stay there. Until now.
Anyone on the 10th floor will see the door to 1007 abruptly slide open, much faster than it was ever intended to be opened, and it connects with its internal stopper with a "crack!" and a "slam!" as the black-haired occupant barrels out of there as fast as her short little legs will carry her.
To her credit, she doesn't scream - doesn't make any noise whatsoever, save for her heavy and rapid breathing, but her bright red eyes are as wide as saucers and she looks as though she's just been witness to something too horrible for words. She's also trembling so violently that she can't even keep her balance, and she trips, dropping to her knees in the middle of the hallway. That doesn't stop her. She spins around and begins crawling backwards, away from her room, until her back is pressed up against the entrance to the porch.
She's not moving. She refuses. She will sit here, trembling, knees drawn up tightly against her chest, and stare down the hallway with wide eyes until she finds somewhere safe to go. Anywhere... please...
And... it may be incredibly faint, but are there quiet whispers of a song coming from that room...? No, maybe you're just imagining things... ]
((OoC: Anyone who looks into room 1007 will see that it's been entirely turned into this place - the Crescent Chronicle, from her home world. In addition, there are grathnode crystals growing from the walls - just... pretend that picture is red in color. Since there are no good images of an actual grathnode crystal. sigh, obscure canon woes...))

I didn't think you would assume that. [A pause, as she lets that point sink in a bit. Then she shakes her head and stands - shakily at first, but she manages to get to her feet without falling over.]
I can walk. Just, if we must walk by that room... [She eyes it warily.] ... Don't let it take me back in.
[She's so afraid that it will. But why...? Why can't she remember?]
no subject
No, I'm not sure you should go back now. Whatever it was that scared you this much could be still there and you need time to face it, miss. I think you should catch some fresh air outside, the stars are a calming view too. [He motions toward the stairway, but sticking close. He offers his arm even for support.] May I ask what, or who it was?

[But she calms back down with a deep breath, and keeps her attention to 1207 so she won't look to her room anymore. She rests a hand on his arm, just in case she ends up not quite as steady as she thinks she is.]
I don't know. ... I don't know what it was. My room... changed. It looks like something else now, something that I should maybe remember. [She sighs.] But I don't remember. I just know I'm... afraid. I know if I stay there I'll... I'll be all alone.
no subject
I'll be glad to help, miss. No one should get hurt, especially by something they can't quite understand.
[But talking about loneliness. He somehow understands that fear... too well, even. No idea how, and why, but loneliness is indeed a frightening thought.]
I'm sorry that you have to deal with something like this. If you'd want to change rooms I can offer mine up on the 12th floor. Or we could find a more suited place for you outside.
no subject
[A small pause.] I would ask for your name, but you're like me. You don't remember it. Do you?
no subject
It's correct, miss. I'm not sure how I got here or who I am. Everyone I've met so far suffers the same symptoms. I believe this is why we should stick together and help each other, it could get worse and no one should be alone when it happens.
no subject
[She hesitates. She doesn't want to be alone, it's true, but just something about other people... can she really trust them? Will everything really be okay if they stay together? She's so conflicted... but she nods.]
You're right. If we stay together, it might be easier to take whatever happens to us.
no subject
[Somehow he notices her hesitation. He nods back at her answer, but he's still concerned.] Is everything alright, miss?
no subject
Hm? Yes. I'm alright. [Well, not entirely. But she doesn't understand her own feelings, so how in the heck is she going to explain them to someone she doesn't even know?] You don't need to worry about me. But... thank you.
no subject
It's just... [He just feels responsible, wanting to do something, wanting to save others, so he won't feel worthless. He needs to do something...] Right. Anyway, if we part, don't stray far from the hotel until we figure out what's going on exactly.
