[1007 was in her room, and was content to stay there. Until now.
Anyone on the 10th floor will see the door to 1007 abruptly slide open, much faster than it was ever intended to be opened, and it connects with its internal stopper with a "crack!" and a "slam!" as the black-haired occupant barrels out of there as fast as her short little legs will carry her.
To her credit, she doesn't scream - doesn't make any noise whatsoever, save for her heavy and rapid breathing, but her bright red eyes are as wide as saucers and she looks as though she's just been witness to something too horrible for words. She's also trembling so violently that she can't even keep her balance, and she trips, dropping to her knees in the middle of the hallway. That doesn't stop her. She spins around and begins crawling backwards, away from her room, until her back is pressed up against the entrance to the porch.
She's not moving. She refuses. She will sit here, trembling, knees drawn up tightly against her chest, and stare down the hallway with wide eyes until she finds somewhere safe to go. Anywhere... please...
And... it may be incredibly faint, but are there quiet whispers of a song coming from that room...? No, maybe you're just imagining things... ]
((OoC: Anyone who looks into room 1007 will see that it's been entirely turned into this place - the Crescent Chronicle, from her home world. In addition, there are grathnode crystals growing from the walls - just... pretend that picture is red in color. Since there are no good images of an actual grathnode crystal. sigh, obscure canon woes...))

so he extends a hand, offering to help her up, a small little smile playing across his mouth in the meantime.] You really look like you don't want to be here. Why don't we go somewhere else?
no subject
Where will we go?
no subject
when she puts her hand in his, he smiles a small little thing, helping her to her feet.] Away from whatever it is that has you scared out of your mind. Which .. I'm thinking might be anywhere but here. Sound like a plan?
no subject
[But as they go, Her eyes are still set on the entrance to her room, and she doesn't want to go anywhere near it, but she knows that the only way to get to the stairs is to walk right by it.
So she tries to fight away the fear.
Emotions... for some reason, she feels like she has some very strong opinions on emotions, but she's not sure why. Why can't she remember...?It works to a degree, but she still walks a little bit closer to 801 when they get closer to the door.]no subject
he can still feel that fear in her, and if he reaches to curl an arm around her shoulders, to hold her a little closer to him as they make their way away from the source of that fear, well ..
really he's just hoping that she's not going to punch him. because as much as he's seen around this place so far, he doesn't think it'd be too unlikely.]
no subject
She opens her eyes once they reach the stairs, and though she steps away a little, she doesn't move away entirely.]
... Thank you. It's better to be away from there.
no subject
under the assumption that he's any good at it. but hell .. it's all worth a try, right?
he very lightly brushes the pad of his thumb against the curve of her shoulder once they reach the stairs, and then he takes his arm away completely, because he doesn't want to seem .. well, he isn't sure. but he doesn't want to give the wrong impression.
even if he isn't sure what the wrong impression would be at this point.] Hey, no problem .. whaddya say we just start walking? See what else is around here?
no subject
Okay. Where will we go, or do we have no destination?
no subject
he hums thoughtfully.] Well, I've been doing a little bit of exploring since I first woke up .. there's a beach with no water, and that's pretty interesting. [have a chuckle. because that's just weird.]
no subject
[She hesitates, just a bit. But then, she nods.] Let's go there. I want to see it. Is it far?
no subject
but he nods right back, because if that's where she wants to go, that's where he'll take her.] Not too far, I don't think. A few minutes' walk. C'mon.
[and he moves to lead her, still wondering if he's doing anything too out of place.]
