[He has to take the time to look in all directions, not giving her an answer because, well, fuck if he has any.

He pulls a steel ball bearing (at least that's what it looks like) out of his pocket and tosses it, sending it rolling across the "floor" of the Plane.]

That's not normal. [He doesn't know how he knows that.]

[sarcastic] What, really? I thought they kept places like this 'round every corner. [she glances at him] Let's find out what else is out 'ere.

[she figures she might as well make the suggestion before he tries to stomp off without her again]

[He pulls something out of his pocket and wraps it around his hand, a mechanical part nestled in his palm. It makes the rolling ball fly back towards him and into his waiting fingers, like a magnet. Both get put back into his coat.]
