happy halloween
[You wake up in a bedroom. You don't remember it. That's strange. At least the dressers have your clothes in them. There is a hospital ID bracelet on your wrist with your room number, just in case you forget.
Why don't you go outside, wander around? Explore your floor, go down the stairs, check out the other rooms?
You could introduce yourself!
Oh, wait. Introduce yourself? You can't. Because you don't remember your name. You don't remember anything.
Sorry about that.]

What the hell is going on?!
[Because clearly she's going to kick someone's ass! She's found this kickass armor and a magnum! She hasn't put her helmet on yet, but you're damn right she's equipped the rest of it. It was in her room? It's hers. Clearly. Even if she... doesn't know who she is. Or why she knows it's her stuff. Or, well, feels like it's her stuff. Whatever. That's why she's demanding answers!
And she happens to spot the back of some guy's head. She narrows her eyes, moves fully into the hallway, and calls out specifically to him.]
Hey. You.

[Seeing someone else who looks a lot like himself is just...yeah.]
no subject
Of course I'm real. [It's snippy, sure, but dismissive as well. Then she pauses for a bit while she studies him a little longer...] Who are you?
no subject
[His smile fades, though, after a moment. If even this hasn't jogged his memory at all, then what will? The armor didn't, even though it fit him like a glove. And now this person... He feels like he should know her. He scratches the back of his head a bit sheepishly.] To be honest...seeing you, I was kinda hoping you might know.
no subject
No. I... don't know either. I just... found this, [she holds up that helmet in her hands for emphasis.] and then I came out here, and-... you-...
[Another sharp shake of her head, and then she's all business again, glaring each way down the corridor.] What the hell is going on here, anyway? There had better be someone else around here.
no subject
I don't know. I wish I knew why we're here, why you...and that...[He trails off, gesturing to the helmet] But there are other people here in the same situation as us.
[He smiles faintly] It's weird, but I feel a little better now.
no subject
She feels a little better too.]Yeah? Well good for you. Look, let's start finding some answers, okay? Someone has to know something.
[And she's not even consciously aware that she's trusting this stranger already...]
no subject
[He glances around, then nods his head in one direction.] Come on, let's get moving.
