[Gaheris doesn't remember the plane when he steps onto it, either thanks to the machine or the events that have passed. The murder of his captain. The passing of a whole 300 years in an instant. The Plane, if it was this version of Gaheris that was ever on it, feels like a distant memory.
So he gets this confusion all over again.] Every time I think I'm getting used to the universe it finds at least one other way to be utterly perplexing. [He stares down at the lack-of-floor, before walking over to the kiosk and collecting his information with an aggrieved, long-suffering sigh.]
Now, all I need to find are the size-altering consumables with appropriate directions, wherever they've been left. [He folds the pamphlet after a quick perusal and tucks it into his leather vest.] Is there anyone here?

Yes. And I presume you are not. Or at least more familiar with it than I am.

[Anything, really.]

But his hand moves to his temple and he just looks faintly perplexed.] What's not in the pamphlet? Besides the robot's commercial ventures, that is.

[Incidental fact: the generally omnipresent trace smell of blood is more present than usual today.]

[Demonstrating the point, Christopher's gunblade is out, and he is thoughtfully tapping it against his chin. (Do not try at home.)]

[This is what he's expecting. It doesn't seem like the type of place that can be explained in a pamphlet.]

He wonders how point blank he should be.]
What sort of medical technology is accessible here? Are you able to take things back to your native universe?

Not that he'll admit it in front of the non!Dylan.]
I have a crew member who is infested with a kind of parasite. We have nanobots in our infirmary, but our physician is somewhat limited and even the ship's AI has difficulty in extracting them from the most healthy of individuals. This crew member doesn't... exactly have the best constitution.

There's nothing that advanced in my world, unless song magic could trump a thing like nanobots. Since I've never heard of nanobots, I couldn't say for sure.

[she walks over to join him at the kiosk, smirking at the reference] So, I take it your name's Alice?

He extends a hand to Menzies in greeting.] And you are?

What levels of medical technology are accessible here? Is there anything superior to nanobots? [If he can touch other universes he's going to try to do something with that.]

[right down to business, then. she can appreciate that, but she frowns at the question. the fact that he's asking for medical technology right out the gate makes her wonder about his home situation. even without knowing him, she doesn't hesitate to share what she knows about that]
You'll 'ave to ask around. Nanobots aren't really accessible where I'm from--[only from alien visitors, at any rate]--but there are plenty people 'ere who are technologically past my city. You might try the Doctor--he wears pinstripes and 'as tall hair--or any of the people wandering about in full armour.
You probably read in there. [she gestures at the pamphlet] The people who run this place have access to special technology, but good luck getting them to share any of it. I wouldn't recommend it.

[He doesn't trusts whose hands it's in now, but he needs things.]

[her expression darkens] That and they're the ones who decided to bring us 'ere in the first place. I doubt they'd want us getting any ideas about what we can do with what they've got.
But like I said, ask around. Some of the others can probably 'elp.
