[Mu appears on the Plane with four things. First is a large, stone jar about as tall as his hips, and just wide enough for him to get his arms around. Second, the cloth of Aries in it's presentational form, standing a silent sentry next to it's master. Third, a large-ish, faintly iridescent rock, which Mu is presently running his hands over, as though searching for something, and fourth, a thermos of tea sitting at his knee.]

Well, at least the lighting here is far better. Goodness knows, I might actually get some Stardust Sand from this rock.

That's right! And now I choose to believe that the armour can only be befriended by defeating its owner in battle!

[And with that FRANKLY RIDICULOUS exclamation, Christopher lunches at Mu with one of his gunblades, cheerfully intend on stabbing Mu in the eye]

[And succeeds!....until the image of Mu simply dissolves away, and metal footfalls sound from a few feet behind Christopher. All trace of levity is gone from Mu's face.]

How unkind.

Ack! [Startled, Christopher staggers, spinning around fast. He is levelling his gun blades and on the offensive all over again.]

Kindness isn't taunting other people. It's friendliness and agreeability. So kindness doesn't have anything to do with us.

[Mu is just barely out of lunging distance.]

Attacking without warning or provocation is neither friendly nor agreeable.

I was provoked. But I accept your point about attacking without warning! It isn't friendly. Only smart.

That point I will grant, but I did not provoke you.

Then by your standards, I ought to have attacked you long ago.

It would be madness to expect our standards to be the same.

Madness does seem to be a theme of yours.

[The voice, coming now from very close behind Christopher, comes a split second before Mu's afterimage fades away again and the Saint attempts to grab Christopher's wrist.

[Without the voice, Christopher would have been caught. With it, the split second is enough for him--but not to dodge. Christopher doesn't like doing evasive. He slams himself backwards against Mu, butt of the gunblades aiming to smash into the armour.]

[lamb_of_gold]

[The backpedal is enough to catch Mu off guard, but the gunblade doesn't come down with enough force to even dent the cloth, much less hurt Mu. He makes another grab for Christopher's sword wrist.]

Stop this, before I hurt you.

[inhumanity]

[This time, the catch is successful. He glances over at the gunblades: handles smashed from the cloth. Christopher lets out a sigh for his weapon.]

What could you be? Teleportation and armour? Ahah! Could it be a true vampire of legend?

[The grip is solid enough, but isn't going to break Christopher's wrist or anything]

I'd be the strangest vampire on record - I've no love of bloodshed in any form.
