✙ 3 - Allergy season has begun!

[It starts with a sneeze.

...Well, technically it doesn't.

But the sound of a sneeze signals the arrival of one man who looks like he's seen better days--or in the very least, one who could do with a hot shower and a cup of tea. For one, Rory looks like he's run a marathon, and for someone who's sneezing, sniffing rather loudly, and desperately looking around for a handkerchief on his person all while trying to breathe, well, that's quite the feat.

Secondly, he's covered in a blue, dusty film, and now that he's giving up on his search, he removes his coat, giving it a good shake. It does disperse some of the crud on it, sending it flying into the air, but for the most part, it continues to cling to the fabric.]

Oh come on, get off! [He frowns, looking at the stuff collecting on the hairs on the back of his hand, then lets out a sigh.] I must look like a smurf... [A groan leaves his lips as he pictures the Doctor and Amy's reaction to his predicament.]

[Clutching his coat in hand, he gets his bearings--the kitchen and bar are the nearest places--but he starts walking for the onsen, unaware of what exactly he's brought to the Plane...]


[ooc: And here it all begins! Feel free to catch Rory as he makes his way to get a bath (he'll figure out clean clothes in a bit), but also, please go ahead and use this as a general mingle post! Hay fever symptoms can start hitting here, and for those going through changes (see here for the full plot info!), any posts made after this one can be ones dealing with the changes and whatnot. I'll post again in the ooc comm in a week's time when the pollen will be completely gone. But for now, have fun!]

I've not seen many of those cartoon things. [Jamie rubs at his nose, trying to get it to stop itching. Since he's gotten some of the cloud on his hands, though, that just makes it worse and he sneezes again.] Och.

[And while Rory looks different, it could be just as easily from the change of clothes - or blue film he's currently covered in.] Aye, I am. Rory, isn't it? Where did all this blue stuff come from, anyway?

I am, yeah. Sorry. [He quickly adds:] I mean, I'm not sorry about my name or your name. I meant I'm sorry about this stuff. [He lifts his arms up and lets them fall to the his sides.] I got covered in it when I rolled down this really big...hill.

[Though he hesitates to use "hill" as a descriptor for it as it really doesn't quite fit the definition of a hill, yet it definitely wasn't a mountain. If it had been, he sort of doubts he would have survived.]

I'm not exactly sure what it is. Bit weird.

[bonnypiperlad]

[He nods, and is about to reply when his face starts twitching rather violently. Holding up a finger, he does his best to suppress the new sneeze that's threatening to come out by sheer force of will. After a few seconds, it seems to be under control, and he visibly relaxes.]

Whatever it is, it's making my nose itch something fierce.

[His back, too, and he reaches to to scratch at it for a few seconds.]

Haven't sneezed this much since that weed cre-

[And there he goes again. So much for suppressing the sneeze.]

Ugh. Look, maybe ye might want to consider a change of clothes or something.

Yeah, that's what I'm aiming to do. [scratches his neck for a second, absentmindedly] I was thinking of washing them before I went back, though. The Doctor and Amy...don't understand what I've meant when I talk about the Plane. They wouldn't understand me walking up to them in a change of clothes.

You all right?

[bonnypiperlad]

[He sniffs a little, but the sneezing seems to have stopped for the moment. There's still some itching, but he can just ignore that for now.]

I think I'll be alright, yes. But...weren't the Doctor and Amy both here at one point? Ye mean they don't remember at all?

[dissedthesonic]

They were, yeah... [Rory frowns, then shrugs it away] They forgot one day. Amy first, then the Doctor. Both of them must think I'm a bit mental, but I don't mention the Plane to them much any longer. Only every now and then on the off-chance it'll make them remember something.

[bonnypiperlad]

I mentioned it to my Doctor and I think he thinks I'm a bit daft, too, since he can't come here. Victoria knows, though.

[And he can't help but look a little anxious over it. What if she forgets at some point? And then wants to go home? He shoves the thought away after a moment, reaching up to scratch at his back.]

I'd wondered why they'd not been around, but I'd not thought it'd be because of that. Look, I'm sorry.
