[Somewhere on the Plane, a little out of the way from where everything else is, Eithan has brought a ridiculously large, poofy, Victorian-style armchair. Of course, you'll find Eithan curled up in that chair. ... And, every once in a while, you'll hear him whine. Or groan. Or make some other pitiful noise.

Sitting on a table beside the chair are a bowl of soup and a cup of hot tea. Neither has been touched very much. There's a blanket on the floor that looks like maybe Eithan was using it before, but it's since been tossed aside and forgotten about.

So basically, have an Eithan, acting like his home worlds and the rest of them are all ending just because he has a really bad head cold. ... 'Tis the season.]

[Yeah, no, that’s not any better. Eithan’s going to continue giving Oliver a wide-eyed stare.]

... Do I want to know this story, or should I wait until I’m sober? [Beat] Or would it be easier to stomach while I’m slightly high on medication?

[oliverplus]

[sheepish] Well, there's not that much to tell. I mean, I missed most of it, anyway... But at least you already know how it ends? [he gives Eithan an encouraging smile. see, everything's clearly all right!]

[punkblaze]

I, uh... guess, yeah. [He shakes his head slowly.] Weird world you've got. So what happened when your brain was in that... thing? Did you realize, or was it like a coma or something? [Pause] I can't believe I'm askin' these questions.

[oliverplus]

[Oliver laughs, still looking rather awkward about the whole thing. normally he would be describing something like this excitedly, but considering he was the one in danger, he's more sheepish than enthusiastic] You get used to it.

Oh, I knew I was...somewhere dark. But my body was sort of...I don't know, coma-ish? I saw somebody else before it happened, and you were basically just left standing there. Erm. Without your face.

[cheerfully] But I thought I was dead to start, so at least it wasn't that!

[punkblaze]

Without your--... [Eithan laughs a bit.] Goddess, man. You really should write this shit down and sell it. But yeah, not bein' dead is definitely a good thing. I'm glad you're still around.

[oliverplus]

[Oliver laughs] I don't know what the Doctor would think of becoming a famous fictional character, but I guess I always could do! And uh, yeah. I am, too. You need somebody around to keep you awake for a bit!

[punkblaze]

Ask him sometime! Maybe he'd get a kick out of it. Who knows?

[He grins at that.] Tell me about it. Everyone's insistin' that I just sleep, but I'm goin' stir-crazy! It's why I came here. Hopefully it'll just go away and I can get back to my own life. Yeah? Besides, I can't tell if Arianna or Valerie's gonna be the one to smack me first if they catch me out of bed again...

[oliverplus]

Hah, knowing him, he might! Probably right up until the Paparazzi start messing up his world-saving, anyway. [he smiles, amused at the thought] And then it'd be my fault.

[curious] How's Valerie been? You didn't get her sick, too, did you?

[punkblaze]

[He's not really sure what the paparazzi is either, but he grins anyway.] Yeah, but would it be worth it?

Nah, she's okay. Life's kinda settled into normal for a bit. [A pause... and then a smile] And hey, uh. She... said yes, by the way.

[oliverplus]

[Oliver snorts] As long as it doesn't get the world destroyed... [he considers] Yeah, I think it might be!

[he breaks out in a HUGE grin at that] Haha, 'course she did! Have you made plans? ...can I come?

[punkblaze]

Hey, none of this "'course" stuff! I was so fuckin' nervous, man. [But he laughs, regardless.]

No plans yet. We'll see how it goes. But it'll probably be pretty huge. You know, Paine family and all... [He rolls his eyes] Nobility. [But then, he smiles again.] And hell, you'd better be comin'.
