[Somewhere on the Plane, a little out of the way from where everything else is, Eithan has brought a ridiculously large, poofy, Victorian-style armchair. Of course, you'll find Eithan curled up in that chair. ... And, every once in a while, you'll hear him whine. Or groan. Or make some other pitiful noise.
Sitting on a table beside the chair are a bowl of soup and a cup of hot tea. Neither has been touched very much. There's a blanket on the floor that looks like maybe Eithan was using it before, but it's since been tossed aside and forgotten about.
So basically, have an Eithan, acting like his home worlds and the rest of them are all ending just because he has a really bad head cold. ... 'Tis the season.]

What the f--!!
[--jumps into a more upright position, though first he just about falls out of the damn chair. sdjfakl]
Hey-- hey! Hey, whoa, what-- who--! [He's looking back and forth between Doc, the scanner, back to Doc, back to the scanner... because that thing looks like a weird alien gun right out of a sci-fi flick, and he looks like a weird dude in armor, and is this a fever dream or something...?]

Uh... Yeah, dizzy. Not numb, but-- nerve damage? Wh-- No. No, 's just... a cough. Yeah, congestion. That.
[Okay, so he's still frazzled. And old-timey cough syrup had a lot of alcohol in it, you know...]

[Eithan doesn't relax on command ever, let alone when some strange guy is apparently trying to take off his boots - seriously, what the fuck?! So he flails, and ends up kicking Doc in the face. Well, helmet. Which... means ends up hurting himself instead.
He curls in on himself, trying to scoot away and against the other side of the chair, namely away from Doc. Meanwhile, he's wincing in pain.]
Motherfucker! What the fuck is that fuckin' helmet made out of?!

[And the tenseness and the yelling causes him to go into a bit of a coughing fit. Be glad, Doc, 'cause if he wasn't busy coughing, he'd still be cursing up a storm at you.]

[a little nervously] If I massage your feet now, are you going to kick me again?

[pouting] But I'm not going to help you if you keep kicking me. That was really mean!
no subject
[SIGH] Okay, okay, fine. Look, I'm sorry I kicked you, I was just really, you know, weirded out. I won't kick you again. [beat] But I also don't need a foot massage. That just makes no damn sense.

[Doc brightens at that promise, not really as bothered as he probably should be at the rejection of his medical care] Okay. Then maybe we could do some yoga! Then you'll feel really relaxed.
no subject
Beeecause that's not creepy at all. What's yoga?
no subject
[he starts to bend down onto the floor--but stops] On second thought, we're gonna need mats... [because obviously a yoga mat makes doing yoga in a full suit of body armor more comfortable]

I... no, guess not. Why’s it matter?

So where are you from? What do people on your world do for exercise if they don't have yoga?
no subject
I'm from Meridia. And, uh, normal stuff? Runnin'? Sports? Where are you from?
no subject
[excited; they have something in common!] Oh, I did track in high school! Did you?
I'm from Delta Commune. So where's Meridida? Is that on Earth?
no subject
High school? Uh. No, that's... a Tharia thing, not a Meridia thing. I was home-schooled. Nobility. I just run for the fun of it, usually when I wake up.
Meridia. And uh, no. Is everyone here from this Earth place but me? I'd never even heard of it before I got here.
