[Duo stalked outside of the hanger, back to form. Now he was able to keep up with a pent up black dragon anyway. Locking the door behind him, he dumped the trash bag into the can on the corner of the hanger before moving to patrol around the building.]

Hiccup? [He calls absently, half hoping the dragon hunting lunatic would show himself so he could take care of that, but he wasn't finding anything. Either way it wasn't like the kid could outsmart a gundam pilot.] Tch. Went home I guess.

[He strolls on back to the cafeteria. Wonder if anyone was around? Heero? Relena? Crowley?]

Mmmm... [Hiccup eyes Duo at that, but he is actually lost in thought.] It's not... You are a warrior then? And you won?

You could say that. [He says as he works, picking the trash up and chucking into the bag. Thankfully it wasn't that much since the first time he cleaned.]

And yeah, we won. It took a while to get things together, but we made it.

What about you? From what I figure, your Dad isn't as keen on dragons as you are.

That's amazing, Duo. Your world must be great right now. [Hiccup comments as he finally starts on cleaning too.] Yyyeah, not just him but no one... So in my village it's me who they think is wrong, hahaha... Thankfully they don't have this big machines to go against me. Annnd... this... might never change.

[Of course Hiccup was playing with the idea of change, but he is still not completely confident in it.]

It's not. Recovering from war takes along time. The people may not even be ready for the peace. So--- Yeah. Here we are now. [Duo comes down from the catwalk and goes out back, throwing the trash away in the dumpster behind.]

So, you have any way to change his mind on the matter?

How that can be? They are not ready for change, for better things? [Wow, change is more complex than Hiccup thought.]

Not really, he wouldn't listen to me... Only if an experiment would hit him too.

Maybe they'll listen to somebody else? Hey. Who knows. You've got Toothless safe here so it's not like they can really get him, right?

Speak of the devil. [There's Toothless at the door.]

Somebody else...? What do you mean? I'm still me, no matter what I do. Uuuh, yes, but... [He spots Toothless sitting at the door, expecting food and entertainment. Space is boring, you know. Hiccup just stares at him a bit nervously.]

I should give him some time to get used to the fact I don't want to kill him... [Hiccup sighs, still looking at Toothless.]

Heh. [Let's try this then.] Toothless, go get 'im. C'mon! [He pointed to Hiccup.]

[Toothless flats his ears, looking at Duo with an 'I am not impressed by your stupidity' expression. He won't go near Hiccup anymore, not a chance.]

It's alright, Duo. I will do something about it, I can start again. It will be... fine... If he can forget I wanted to kill him, and cut his heart, everything will be fine. [Hiccup laughs nervously.]

Don't you give me that look. Not after I waited on you hand and foot for nearly a month.

[Duo approaches fearlessly and looks Toothless right in the eye, then takes the frisbee and tosses it.]

Go get some fish and we can work on your relationship now, alright? No need to waste any time.
