[Morgana is in black. Evil witches wear black. It's a thing. She stands in the forest, and with the magic spells she learned from Eithan, she is systematically destroying the trees, grass, and flowers.]

[Why? Because she is a witch. Because she wants to see it burn.

Because she fears that a witch can be nothing but corrupted.]

[Oh, and as a warning, her destructive streak does not apply solely to scenery. Let the powerless beware: she doesn't mind taking lives.]

[ooc: Morgana's consequence for eating candy is to become the corrupt, evil, destructive witch that Uther insisted came from all magic. She won't necessarily kill everyone who comes to talk to her, but if you want the thread to come to that (or violence and fighting) it most certainly can. Always Chaotic Evil Witches are all for it.]

[Only his lips move as he mumbles something under his breath, and a wheel of volatile, popping flames surrounds him.]

Use somethin' other than a little start.

[This isn't what he wants, but he knows he can't take any chances, for everyone's sake. Maybe even hers. But please, if she can just see reason, or if he can just find out what happened to cause this...]

[Morgana eyes widen, but not with fear.] I won't die easily.

And I'm hopin' it doesn't come to that. [He nods at the burning forest around them.] C'mon, Morgana. Put it out. And tell me why.

[She doesn't move at all to stop it.] Why not? There isn't a single spell in these books for healing and helping. What can fire do but burn?

Protect. Defend. Burn what needs burnin'. Seriously, what did the trees ever do to you, huh? [He does manage to flash the tiniest of smirks, but it's gone as quickly as it came.]

I don't hate the trees. I just wanted to watch them burn.

[And with another spell, a part of the fiery wheel is sent flying straight for Morgana. A warning shot. If she's been reading as much as she implies she has, then this won't affect anything.]

[Certainly not, but she fights it with one of those percussive blasts, knocking the fire away.]

[He watches it fly aside... clicks his tongue, shakes his head and turns his attention back to Morgana.]

Should I bother askin' for a better answer?

Yep. Didn't think so. [Pause] I'm sorry, Morgana.

[And with another chant, the wheel of flame spirals toward her, detonating all around her.]

[Morgana is able to disperse some of the fire, but she decides not to take her chances this once. She disappears off the Plane.]
