[ It seems like Mami's returned to the bar. This is only her second visit, because the first time she wound up drunk didn't go so well.
But it also made her a friend, which was something she hadn't expected-- embraced, even. So even though alcohol was bitter to her, it carried a sort of charm to it. She knew she put too much weight into those sorts of things. Associating friendship with alcohol... was not very healthy, but also not uncommon. She sipped sake, even though she didn't like the taste. There were other drinks that promised fruitier flavors, but she knew better. They would all taste bitter, mixed or not.
She wasn't drunk, but she waited for a comforting haze, a slowness to the world, to set in. ]

[Conan had also found the bar to be a good place to meet people. His approach was pretty different to Mami's, however.]

You're being silly, Oneesan! That's not how you find a friend! Plus, you don't have to drink that nasty adult stuff to stay in here, even if it is a bar!
[Conan scrambled up on to the nearest barstool.] See?

It is rather bad. But the memories I made with it were nice. Alcohol isn't at all what they make it out to be. I still remember everything. Even tripping and him laughing at me.
[ She laughs again, good naturedly and kind of sad. It seems even embarrassing moments are precious to her. ]

Spotting Mami sitting there, he decided to go and join her. His mood was bad enough from before after talking to both Relena and Duo earlier. Maybe a drink would take the edge off. It didn't help he was exhausted either.]
((ooc: Finally! Took me long enough to get this loaded. >_<))

[ She doesn't try to let it show that she's happy to see him. She's been gone for a while and a familiar face is very welcome. ]
[ ooc; HAHA same here ;_; ]

[He tries to hide the fact that he's not in a good mood and tired...and failing pretty badly.]

[ It's easy to tell, yes-- and hey, when steeping tea isn't enough, might as well eat up the library's collection on other drinks. ]

[Gabriel just appears out of nowhere on the other side of the counter, dressed in clothes of a bartender. He is even cleaning a glass with a cloth.]
So, how was it? He cheated and lied about it, and you got him dirty handed, hm?

No, just waiting for a friend. That, and even if I'm a bit young, this takes my mind off things.
