[Dino is at the bar. Well, seated at it anyway, he doesn't appear to be drinking anything, not even the cup of coffee he has beside him. His hair his messy and it does look like he rolled out of bed and just pulled on a pair of jeans and a baggy t-shirt with a skull on it. He doesn't even have any shoes on at the moment, although he seems to found the time to get Enzio a plate of lettuce that tiny turtle is currently busy eating his way through on the counter next to him.

However most of Dino's attention seems to be focused on a piece of paper in his hand, one that beats several scribbled lines of writing on it.]

This can't be good news....

What's not good news?

[Hello, Dino. Have an ever curious seven-year-old.]

[Hello random child. Dino looks down at him and half folds the paper] Oh, nothing big. It's just that I can't seem to find someone back home.

Another missing person case?

[Conan invites himself into one of the barstools.]

When did your friend go missing? What are the circumstances?

What do you mean 'another'? There's been more than one? [That is slightly worrying] This could be nothing. He just wasn't where he said he would meet us and we haven't been able to contact him either. He's just normally so reliable that it's odd. [And he was a rather important contact too. Dino has enough experience to assume the worst when it comes to someone like that disappearing without warning.]

Mm. You're the fourth person I know of who can't find someone in their world. It's kind of weird, don't you think?

Ne, have you looked for him?

[He frowns] I think it's more than weird. It's a bit to much of a coincidence that four people would go missing at once without something else going on.

I asked some people to look for him, but he isn't in any of his usual spots.

It's more than four! Two in my world, four in Guinevere-san's, and one in each of the others -- I guess the only thing these cases have in common might be the timing and the fact that they occurred in worlds connected to the Plane.

[Dino crumples up the piece of paper] I will bet you that they are connected, if by nothing more than this place causing it. I know it can take people from our worlds. I've seen it happen before.

I don't know if that's what's going on this time, but I am going to keep it in mind.

[The same conclusion that Conan had come to -- not that he wanted to admit to coming to any conclusions just yet.]

It's happened before? What do you mean?

[He just hopes this doesn't end up being the same sort of situation] A while back we had people from our worlds go missing and end up in other worlds. We got them all back eventually, but it took a while.

Were the missing people aware they were in the wrong worlds?
