[ It may have been awhile, but it's always better to be late than never to show up at all, isn't it? Showing up on the Plane again is a somewhat tired and slightly skeptical former-Lady President.

And as much fun as has it has been wandering the un-named planetoid, Romana has been looking for answers as she's wandered it. But there's always a faster way of getting answers if one has access to a place such as the Plane.

--In no way, shape, or form is this because she's also trying to distract herself from feeling guilty about what has happened back home either. ]

[ ooc: Newly canon-updated Romana taken from right at the beginning of "Reborn". It's a short one for now until she gets to the end of the audio, but for now I'm hoping to rebuild CR since I have been... rather neglectful. I may be slow with tags but go ahead and spam away. ]

[In her wanderings, Romana may come across a small-child sized desk just randomly standing in the Astral Plane. A second glance reveals it to be fully stocked with pencils, notebooks, an art kit and sport's bag, but if she bends down to take a closer look at it, she'll hear a small child call out.]

Ah -- that's my desk!

[This is that small child, a tiny seven-year-old, carrying the chair that belongs to the desk.]

[ Her posture straightens as she pulls her hand away from the desk. It had been mild curiosity and she certainly wasn't going to take anything from it. ]

[Conan sets his chair down and points back to the direction he's come from -- the central (if central even applies to the Plane) area where most people show up.] I didn't want to leave it there -- I was worried someone might trip over it.

[ There was a brief bemused look upon her face as she looked in the direction he was pointing at. ]

Well, that is showing some thought on it. But I would think you'd have better use of your desk back at your school.

[ The corners of her mouth formed the smallest of smiles. She could hardly remember the last time she seen anyone so young on this Plane-- and it was rather unsettling at that. ]

You should return home then. This isn't a place for children to be.

I'm not very good at going back yet. [This was true, even if it was delivered in a childishly incongruous fashion.] But I came here by accident thinking about this place, so I think I should wait a bit before going home. So I don't accidentally return a second time.

[As blind as she was, Leela recognised the sound of Romana's breathing. Her soft foot falls. Her weariness. She was delighted to see her on the Plane. It put her at risk, yes, but it also gave her resources and connections that could help them all.]

[Rhade's guilt is still building, because he's not done the things that he feels that he has to do- he's just planning them. But he's borrowing valuable time before a communication with the other Nietzscheans by stepping out onto the Plane.

[Some Nietzscheans only reserved "my Lady" for others of their kind. Rhade has never been quite so partial.]

[ Romana herself had not been paying attention entirely to her surroundings. Upon hearing him speak to her she came out of her thoughts, blinking once in a short-lived moment of surprise. ]

Ah-- no, it's quite alright.

You look distracted. [Or "troubled" would be the better word. He offers her a hand to shake, his boneblades tucked close to his arm in a way that they look more like decorative costume than actual protrusions.]

[ She accepted his offered hand with a short but firm shake. It was a relief to use less formal methods of greeting-- it was one of few things she found herself not having to worry about at this time. ]

Lady Romanadvoratrelundar, formally Madame President of Gallifrey. [ That also a weird thing to say. ] As much as I would appreciate some help I have little need for any military assistance.

[ There was no ill-will behind that statement. She was only tired and many things were weighing down heavily on her mind. ]

[He blinks at that, but then just neatly tucks his hands behind his back as the shake ends and gives her a touch of a smile.]

Well, I wasn't intending on rallying any armies just yet. It was merely a polite offer of help if you needed it. You look troubled.

[ It took her a moment to realize what she had assumed and for that she sighed and brought her hand to her face, shaking her head. ]
