007 | Back to Old Habits

[Crowley wakes up in his room on the Plane. The bed beside him is as cold as when he went to sleep. He hasn't seen Aziraphale in a month and it's really starting to wear at him. He thought... Well, he thought he'd see him more often than this.

He gets up, finally catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He blinks in surprise and pats his chest to make sure the reflection in the mirror isn't a hallucination. It isn't. Crowley's back to being himself, back to being a man. That's a relief.

But he has to test a theory. He briefly changes himself to look like the woman he'd been for a month, then back to himself. Well, that's a relief. He wills on a dashing black suit with red pinstripes, a red shirt, and a black silk tie. He picks up his shades from the night stand and slips on his snakeskin shoes. They tie themselves.

And he steps out of his room, looking over at his car. That was the last place he saw the angel.

Well. Now's as good a time as any to start drinking for the day.]
