[Heero is once again at the bar, but this time he's not trying to drink himself into oblivion. That hadn't worked out as well has he had hoped, leaving with a rather nasty hangover. While there is a bottle of opened vodka on the counter, he's not drinking it.
Instead he's using it to disinfect a shrapnel wound to his upper arm. The left one again, right under a nearly healed gun shot wound. It seemed as though every time he stepped foot onto Duo's reality he somehow managed to take a hit to the arm. One of these days he was going to come back to the plane missing an arm. The thought had him slightly amused. How would he explain that one back home?
Dabbing the wound with a cotton ball gently, he set it down once he was finished and reached for the suture kit. Yes, he was going to actually do this to himself, in the open for all to see. Not that it bothered him or anything. The bar happened to be the most convenient place to do this. Vodka made a wonderful disinfectant and was readily available so there was no need to head home and grab the proper cleaner.
Grabbing the already opened kit he set to work. The most impressive part was the fact he was hardly making a face while doing it.]

I'll show you where it is.

I was hoping you would. Please, lead the way Heero.

There are dresses available for you to wear, if you'd like.

Relena nods as she glances up at him.]
Then how about I get into a dress and you change into something formal as well? We can dance the night away, if you are willing of course Heero.

[It was only fair after all. He went off to the men's dressing rooms to rummage through a bunch of suits, finding one in his size and in basic black. Nothing fancy.
Once he was dressed, he waited for her out in the lobby.]

Relena smiled and did a slight curtsy for him before straightening up.]
What do you think?

She was beautiful and his expression said enough.]
Perfect.

You look rather handsome yourself Heero. Now shall we dance?
[She held out her hand and smiled, waiting for him to take it and lead her into the ball room proper.]

Reaching out he took her hand, leading her into the ballroom and slipping his arm around hers.]

Immediately a waltz was filtering through the air and for a moment, she worried he wouldn't know how to dance it.]

You do know how to relax.
[He kept time with the music, leading her the best he could in the waltz and keeping track of his steps.]

[She kept time with his steps, letting him lead even if he took a missed step here or there. Relena knew he didn't have the benefits of the tutors she had growing up, but all the same she would rather him and all his imperfections as her partner than anyone else.]

Do I?

I think you just might.

Maybe.

[Teasing. The song ended and there was an interlude before the next one. In that span of time she pulled him closer and smiled.]
I think that I may just have to spend more time in this place if it is this relaxing for the both of us.

[He was surprised by her forwardness. After all, he had been the one to make the first move and it hadn't even happened to her yet.]
As long as you relax.
no subject
I think I can manage that with you here.
