Sitting on the couch she brought with her from home, Ai was seated on the left side with a tray beside her. She had brought her meal with her this time but the meal of rice and homemade curry had been left untouched. Instead she was engrossed with a few photographs she held in her hands. ]

If it isn't one thing, it's another.

[ Without a word she holds out the photographs to Satoshi. It displays a picture of her living room back home or at least a wall in particular. Spray painted upon it are two words: 'STAY CALM'. ]

[He looks them over, then glances back at her.] Someone put spray paint on Hatsune Miku's car. [So it probably isn't anything to do with her situation, but Satoshi is paranoid enough to keep that as an option.]

[ Hearing that helped her to relax a little. Ever since she had received the letter from Bernkastel she had been even more troubled than before on the theory that it still could have been a trick. But no-- this was not related directly to her. At least, not that she could think of for the time being. ]

Then it's possible that this could have happened to other people who visit this place.

[ Nodding. ] There were no signs of forced entry and with the exception of the wall, everything was the way it should have been when I came home. I was lucky enough to hide it with a framed picture the Professor had purchased recently before he could see it.

[ Which translates to a 'yes' seeing as she hops down from the couch just long to vanish. In mere seconds she returns with a tiny plastic bag, within it were little shavings of wall paint chips and the spray paint that attached itself to it.

She was going to have to repaint that spot of the wall before the Professor found out. ]

[Menzies can't miss the kid sitting on the sofa as she walks through the area. mentally, she sighs at the sight, not at all glad to see another kid in this place. but then she notices that there's something off about Ai's manner--something less childish and more serious than expected. there's definitely more going on here than meets the eye, and she can't very well just walk right past a good mystery]

[ Mysteries and dead bodies seem to be attracted to the people from Haibara's world. Hearing her being spoken to a new voice the child looked up and blinked. The photos were still held in a way for only herself to see. And rather than answering her question she pointed out something else entirely. ]
