[One moment a table in the bar is empty, the next it has a young woman sitting at it pouring over documents and completely unaware that she had been relocated. Relena continues to look at the documents in her hand as she takes in every insightful detail in preparation for the meeting in a few hours.
Unfortunately, some part of her mind wished to be somewhere other than in her office on such a nice day in Sanq. That would be how she ended up here, in a bar of all places. For now, the politician is still clueless that she's no where near her office as she begins to reach for more papers that.. are not there.]

H-hi...

Hello Matti, I wasn't expecting to show up here again so soon.

Like Canada Day.] W-well.. I-I mainly came here j-just now to give away some sweets... d-do you want some...? [She holds up a maple-candy lollipop shyly. Really, these take so much work to make by hand, she wishes America would appreciate them more.]no subject
Thank you. I suppose wishing to be somewhere else other than work would be a silly reason to end up here.

[Her own had its issues, but Relena could never bring herself to hate her home. So why did Matti hate hers?]

Eventually she glances up to take a break from the written pages and pauses. When did she get.. here? Of course, she noticed Duo after a bit. The lack of a braid still threw her off.]
Hello Duo, I trust you're well.

[She set down the ones she was reading and idly picked up another.]
I wonder if this is a viable option for getting even more of my paperwork done on time. I mean, just bring it here and work on it.

With that being the case, I don't think I need to rush as much with reading the documents then.
[Moments later she was organizing the papers and setting them back in their folder before joining Duo at the bar and ordering herself a small drink. Once it arrived, she took a sip and set it down.]
Duo, I'm curious. You said you were from an alternate reality? I would like to know a bit about it if you don't mind.

You don't wanna hear that story. It's not all that exciting. Believe me.

Then perhaps another time.
[She takes a small sip of her drink once more.]
Though I do have to ask, how long have both you and Heero been frequenting this.. place? Plane? I'm still not sure how to refer to this place.
no subject
[He takes another sip of his own beer.]
We call it the Plane, actually. And I've been here for about two months. I've been living here, while Heero comes and goes.

Guess you could stay in one of the buildings here but I wouldn't recommend.

[Admittedly, she's a little confused but taking it in stride.]

Hm. [He chuckles.] You really want to? It's just like those papers of yours. You come here with it. We got our hanger here like before, just both of us concentrating on it and boom. It's here.

Then I may have to try bringing a building with me. Do they stay on the plane when I leave? Or does it just.. travel with me?

[He catches that look, and turns back to his drink, but he smiles all the same. He shouldn't expect anything less from her.]

Well, it should be something I can experiment with I suppose.
no subject
Speaking of experiments, have you heard?
no subject
Heard what Duo?
no subject
Whoever is running this joint has the power to experiment on us.
Though I've only heard of someone getting turned into the opposite sex, so far anyway.
Oh right. That and Heero lost control of his emotions for about a week and a half.
no subject
... I really don't like the sound of that.
