[it's been a while, Plane, but Kilgarrah is back and looking none too happy. considering there's only a handful of people back home who even know he exists in order to insult him, he's covered his bases there

so now he's busy displaying his very large, very sharp teeth, wings spread wide to give him size]

Who of you has decided to challenge me? Was it you, witch? The dragonrider? Come forward and I'll show you just whose fangs are largest.

A-aaahhhh...! [Is Hiccup's only comment at first, since he is trying to regain his composure. A sudden dragon roar practically out of nowhere can be very... not good for the heart.] Um, something is... the m-m-matter? [He kinda wants to call the dragon his name, but he hasn't learned it yet, and it just feels rude to call him 'Dragon'.]

Whoah... [Hiccup would feel honored for being called a dragonrider, but oh yes, angry dragon... He blinks rapidly to water his eyes again, and licks his suddenly dry lips. He shifts his weight from each leg to another as he is trying to calm down.] Uuuuh, I-I'm not really sure what are you talking about, m-maybe if you could ask th-the question in a more detailed way...? Please?

[Kilgarrah tosses his head back and laughs at her assertion, whole body trembling in false joy before he brings his head back down, snout close enough to touch]

Your games don't work on me. You know exactly what was left in my cave.

[wow, it's an actual dragon. Menzies has seen a lot of strange things, but even for her, this is pretty high up on the list. she stares up at the dragon for a long moment. then she briefly debates what she should do while faced with an actual dragon. in this case, considering the message she received, she has a hunch what the dragon might mean when it's talking about a challenge]

[with the slight foreboding of someone who isn't sure what she's getting into or if it's even a good idea to get into it, Menzies asks:] What challenge is that?

[the Dragon snorts, stamping the ground] The one left in my cave. Who wants to know.

[she takes a prudent step back, watching those feet, although she has a feeling the dragon could stamp on her before she could get out of the way if it really wanted to. still, that's the sort of consideration that's best not to dwell on]

[Although Morgana and Arthur had done their best to help Gwen to adjust to the strangeness of the Plane, they had neglected to mention the dragon to her. She jumped back when he appeared, staring up at Kilgarrah with wide eyes.]
