[Shion appears in a blaze of glory..err..a flash of light at least. His Cosmo is glowing an even brighter gold than normal and even his Cloth seems to be emitting a bright light. It slowly fades as Shion falls to his knees. His eyes are unfoucused and almost every part of him not covered by his Cloth is bleeding from some sort of cut or scrape. Even the Cloth itself looks bad, it's metal surface pitted and cracked.]

Did it work? Please Athena, let it have... [He loses consciousness as he speaks and collapses to the ground.]

[ooc: Last canon bump for Shion so I can get him home]

SHION!

[Shionshionshionshion- Mu books it over as fast as he can, catching him before he hits the ground, easing him down gently. Mu lets his Cosmo burn as bright as he dares, and holding onto the other Aries as tight as he dares, almost as if he were afraid to let go.

Which he is.

But that's beside the point.

Mu bends over Shion, adjusting his head so he can breathe, and generally fussing, continuing to let his Cosmo burn until the blond should wake up again.]

[It takes a few long moments for Shion to start to stir. For a moment mind is confused, the last clear memories he has are of Hades and the other Gold Saints and desperation. His head clears enough for him to finally noticed the familiar Cosmo around him. He half opens his eyes.]

....Mu? What are you..?

[Absolute relief floods through him, and Mu sags a tiny bit against Shion, his hands tightening just a bit.]

You're all right... Just....just breathe. Relax.

[He tries to raise himself up a bit, but Mu's grip and his own exhaustion force him back down. He dimly remembers deciding to head to the Plane, but the actually arrival is just a blur.] I....have you been back home? Has anything changed there? [Did the sunlight actually work?]

Not since I felt your Cosmo explode. I thought you might come here.

[He's speaking a quietly as Shion is, bending over and maintaining eye contact and maintaining his Cosmo, though he eases it off to a gentle, steady burn, like a warm blanket.]

[There is gratitude from Shion. After the cold and dark touch of Hades' cosmo, Mu's is a welcome feeling.] I couldn't collapse there, not with everything in doubt. It was the only thing I could think to do against Hades and I'm not how much damage was done to him.

[Though curious, Mu doesn't ask. Maybe he will later, but for now, Shion's wellbeing is what's important.]

Worry when you have the energy to.

[Shion is still going to attempt to prop himself up a little] ...Are you and the young ones safe?

[Mu eases up a bit, shifting to help keep him up] We're fine.

[It pains Shion how weak he still is. At least he's not shaking so much] Be careful when you go back. Hades is not contained any longer and I don't know how far the final battle will reach.

I will take care, but that will be then. For now, just rest.

It's rather hard to rest when the fate of the world is hanging in the balance and you aren't sure your plan has worked.

It's also quite hard to save the world when you cannot stand.

[Darn you and your logic Mu] It still has to be done.

[With a little application of pressure, Mu pushes Shion back down]

When you can sit up, you can return.

[Shion is not happy about that and tries to get up again] I am not fond of laying around!

Nor am I fond of watching you rush to your own death!

Then what else would you have me do!?

Just....[Arguing with Shion=not getting anywhere anytime soon]

...Just don't go until you're ready.

[Stubborn ram is stubborn] I just need to catch my breath.

Then catch it before you go back.
