[Viking and dragon incoming, but Hiccup doesn't seem all that happy.]

... others can dream they are heroes, or that they are at some other place, they could even fly without wings in their dreams, or anything but but but a princess?! Being a girl!? Haha, the Gods must have thought it would be funny to show me how it is to be a girl-! A princess even, very funny! ...A princess... In a kingdom with dragons...

[And in the middle of his rant, Hiccup's knees go weak and he falls flat on his face... and not getting up. Toothless, the dragon who is following him, stops next to him and lays down to take a nap too. They were practicing all day after all, so Hiccup could distract himself from the 'dream' he recently had.]

To Thor's hammer... But it was so real, how could it be so real, I can still remember everything... [Hiccup mutters into the Astral floor in a muffled voice.] I was- I was going to marry Astrid...! [The realization makes him blush like some kind of viking tomato.]

I don't even want to start on all of it. [Sighs.] I couldn't kill a dragon, and now I'm here, stuck with one, who I think as a friend of mine, and then this strange dream happened where I was a girl, and I wanted to ride dragons, because everyone was doing that-- What a stupid... idea... [Mutters and slowly sits up, his expression is thoughtful.]

He looks at Leela thankful.] But I was a girl, Leela, and there were other things, and it was just... horrible. If it really happened. Oh, Gods, it really happened...!

[Toothless recognizes the familiar scent of Morgana, so he takes the trouble to open his eyes and lift his head to look at her as a greeting.]

[!!! Okay, Toothless is alarmed, there are high tension around him and that's something he might not... like. Though as he watches Emil fall, what reminds him of someone, he just... stares with big, cat-like eyes.]

[It makes Hiccup suddenly push himself up too, there are screaming after all!]

What? What? Oh-- yes, the usual dragon scare, what a surprise. Okay, calm down, of course he is a dragon. Toothless is a Night F-- [And hello other guy on the floor...] Well that's... familiar.

[Emil disengages his face from the floor and rubs his nose to make sure it's still on. His face goes from a frown to an uneasy, awkward smile.]

[He pulls himself to his knees, then gets up.]

I thought most monsters didn't like people.

[He reaches out, then stops himself and lets his hand fall back to his side. Emil, of course, smells like dragons and kittens and chimeras and all sorts of beasties, and he would never hurt one. But Toothless is free to hate him on principle of not being Hiccup.]

Aah, no problem, I'm used to it you know. Apparently I'm not a viking-like viking, so common things like noticing I'm there is just too much to ask sometimes. B-but I'm not blaming them. [Hiccup laughs nervously as he gets up too and dusts himself.]

Uuuh... thaaaat is somehow true, but Toothless is different. I have a feeling that all the dragons are different, but I couldn't really test that yet. It's just-- [But he can't really say more since Toothless gets up and stomps toward Emil, sniffing loudly. Hey, he is interesting okay?] Whoah, alright, Toothless, easy! That's not what I meant. I was just focused on the dragon. He's kinda hard to miss. [He blinks at Hiccup, though.] What's a viking?

[Then-- oh god dragon stomping toward him. Emil squeaks and holds up his hands to protect himself/cower in a manly way, but it's only... sniffing. So after a moment, he forces himself to relax and holds out his hand for Toothless to inspect. Emil smells like some weird mixture of sweets, great home cooking, world journeys, and of course a hundred monsters he's raised like pets.]

Um, hi there... Toothless.

[He reaches to pet the dragon's nose, hoping he doesn't lose a hand in the process.]

Oh, well then, uuuh... I'm still used to it. [Digs his fingers into his hair, sighing heavily.] A viking, uuh, a viking. Well it's something big, hairy, loud annnd... rough thing. Just look at this [Motions at himself.] and imagine something completely the opposite, and that might be something like a viking.

[Lots of interesting smells you got there. Few smells like food! Oh, that means you must have food on you, right, Emil? Now, give him some. Hand? What should he do with a hand? Toothless huffs at it, but lets Emil touch him.]

I-I'm Hiccup by the way. Nice to meet you! [Hiccup wasn't keeping his breath until it was sure Toothless won't hurt Emil, really. He totally trusts the dragon.] So you uh, you know dragons too?

[That hair sticking out of her head twists into odd shapes with every growl she hears. Dragons are much too scary.]
