[There's now a hangar on the plane!]

[Heero was sitting on the hatch with his laptop,  busy making running a diagnostic on his mobile suit. Well, it wasn't really his but for now it was.    A mountain of parts he and Duo had acquired during one of their trips were in the corner, all sorted according to their uses. There was even a cot nearby, betraying the fact he hadn't returned home in a while. He wanted the suit fixed before he did. Yup, just as it always was. Once he got involved with a mission it was nothing but that.]

[There was a distinct mechanical noise that almost could have sounded like a protest.]

I know that.

[There's no one else in the hangar and yet he isn't talking to himself.]


((ooc: Heero and Duo pulled a hangar on the plane after one of their trips. It's open for use, but some of the sections will be protected from intruders when either of them isn't there.))

[People talking to giant robots like they're alive. That sure brings him back.]

[Forgive Jade: he's just taking an interest in the make of the giant robot. He adjusts his glasses as he looks it over, but his hands are in his pockets. Technology wasn't his half of the outfit.]

[Heero didn't bother looking up from the laptop, ignoring Jade and continuing on with this business.]

[Well okay then. One way to find out!

Jade disappears, reappearing with a welding mask, a lab coat, and, well, the sort of materials you'd need to chip off a bit of metal from a giant robot.]

[Well, that wasn't going to happen. He's got a gun drawn on on Jade now.]

[Jade holds up his hands, all innocence.] My, my. Is that how you treat your elders?

[Age doesn't matter to him. Jade is still too close to his suit and he doesn't like it.]

I thought I'd made it quite clear. A simple 'no' is a workable answer, isn't it?

[Fine. If he really had to say it he would. Normally a gun is enough to get his point across.]

If you insist. It's always gratifying to see forwardness in young men.

No, that's all. I appreciate you taking the time. [And obligingly, Jade disappears.]

[Why is there a hangar on the plane? The Andromeda has its own defence robots, so he wanders in to take a look at the giant bot. Curiosity is winning over in this case.]

[Because it was needed? Heero doesn't need his suit to tell him someone is coming, but it does anyway. He doesn't look up]

Is it remotely operated or do have to pilot it manually? The Andromeda's operate by remote. [He tilts his head up at the giant robot, leaning back a bit and tucking his hands primly behind his back.]
