[This is really confusing. The identical floor and surrounding environment is disorienting, but there are buildings, and... a chair? It's attractive, but not so much that he doesn't kick it over in his confusion before moving on to the buildings. This can't be natural... though, considering the way inside was through a mysterious door in his cell wall, what chance was there of it being otherwise?
Maybe alerting Jade is a bad idea. He can't lock him back up if he doesn't know where he is. So, exploring. Quietly.

[Twitch. Twitch. His hands visibly shake just a little before one darts up to wipe at his nose... not that there's anything there. This does not bring him any kind of relief.]

[That's not an adjective Dist hears applied to him very often. Since he clearly can't keep Peony off of his shoulders, this time his hands shoot up to fix his hair after having it horribly manhandled.]

I can't have you running around, doing stupid things and embarrassing me by association. I all ready have Jade doing that, I'm not sure I could stand two childhood friends embarrassing me by association.

Why would I do that? Van is dead. I don't have any reason to work against you any more; he can't even fund my work. This whole dance is stupid.
