[The first time he entered the plane he thought he was dead. Sometimes Heero preferred it that way, but usually not. Not anymore anyway. Then he found himself back at the shop, right back into trying to find the man he'd been chasing after. Pulling the radio from his pocket, he brought it to his lips] Alpha team, I'm moving in. [Pushing the door open slightly, he slid inside, gun drawn and peering about before stepping inside.]
[He found himself on the plane again, gun drawn and pointed ahead of him. The never ending space. Home. It wasn't right, but it didn't stop him from walking about the plane cautiously. He wanted answers and he would get them.] Whoever is in control, come out now.
[No response. That figured. He slid the gun back into his shoulder holster under his uniform jacket and approached the bar. Why was there a bar here? He stood there with his fists clenched at his sides, watching the plane and anticipating something.]

Heero?

As if you don't know. It's me, Duo.
Or did you forget about me already?
no subject
Duo?
[He takes a step closer.]

[Not that this isn't the last place he'd think he'd ever see Heero. He aged well. Didn't look a day older than the last time he saw him.]
no subject
What happened to your hair?
[He never expected Duo to cut his braid. He always fought so hard to keep it.]
no subject
I cut it off myself a while ago. You were there, you were...
[Aw man.] Just let it go, alright?
no subject
No I wasn't.
no subject
Bullshit. You don't remember what happened when we busted you out?
No?
no subject
You never rescued me.
[He was sure of that. After all, he had been the one to rescue Duo in the OZ prison.]

[His face becomes a bit dark, but even he realizes there has to be another explanation for it. Maybe. Or maybe not.]
I don't get it. You don't remember, huh? It doesn't matter. How about we just focus on the here and now?

Where are we?
no subject
They call this place the plane. Sure you noticed the stars and stuff outside, right? The fact that you can't actually see the ground?
[He picks up his glass and fetches Heero another, offering to pour him some.]
Apparently we're here to be experimented on.

They won't answer. Especially not like that.
no subject
Who are you?
[A bit demanding, but he wasn't going to play games.]
no subject
Riku. [He... actually smirks.] If you put down your weapon, I'll put mine away, too. I'm fine answering questions about this place, just not when someone's acting like they're going to shoot me.
no subject
Where am I?
[Riku was it? He made a mental note to remember his name and face.]
no subject
The Astral Plane. It's sort of like a connection between worlds and universes. No one you meet here is actually from here.
no subject
How did I get here?
[He had a vague idea that it had something to do with that shop, but he wasn't certain. Riku seemed to know a good deal about this place.]

What's the catch?

This place isn't always safe. Sometimes, we get trapped here. Maybe something terrible happens, or maybe we're just stuck. Still, we've managed to work our way through everything the Machine's tried on us so far.
There are also experiments. Strange, unexplainable things happen to you. [He hesitates.] If you want an example, one of my friends here is... suddenly a girl. No one knows why.
no subject
Experiments. [He says to himself. Old hat to him really. But those were some really interesting experiments to be thrown into. The machine had an odd sense of humour and he didn't like it.]
no subject
What's your name, anyway?
no subject
Heero.
