Self-portrait with Masks

[So. He has the power to create anything.]

[In the ballroom, he makes the tools of his family's trade. He makes paintbrushes and easels, pallets, chisels, each ornate and ribbed in gold, decorated by wings and twists. Any artists around, come one, come all! And come fast.

Because as he makes them, he destroys them, letting them fade before they can stay for too long.]

[Lead me not into temptation.]

That's it, then.

Make it from what, exactly?

[ and the slightest back ]

... alright, I'll gamble on it, as the Witch of Miracles.

No permanent death.

However, that would just make things easier for a traditional game board, wouldn't it? If the pieces are reborn, it eliminates the need for a rewind cycle... a difficult game to play with memories involved.

[ But I like a challenge-- tastefully omitted. ]

So that kind of game board won't be suitable.

I'll have to feed my boredom another way.

Or paint? [ Calling back to his creation and destruction. ]

[ She draws a paintbrush out of thin air on her own, then. ]

I never really had the patience, despite my thousand years.

[ ... a little magic, then. She dips the brush mid-air as if dipping it into a jar of ink. The tip vanishes for a second, and reappears, brimming with ink, though not a drop spills onto the floor.

In mid-air-- as if there's an invisible glass canvas between them, she paints a cat in fast, quick, simple strokes.

2D and made of ink, it jumps out of the 'invisible canvas' and walks out of the ballroom, leaving ink pawprints. ]

... painting is messy as well. It doesn't suit a witch.

Find somewhere to curl up or someone to curl up on, eat scraps from the kitchen, behave as cats do.

Or would you prefer I erase it?

[identity profile] mirakill.livejournal.com 2011-04-30 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not a puppet of mine. Just something I made.

No point wasting energy chasing it down just to erase it.

That's a rather private question, isn't it?

[identity profile] mirakill.livejournal.com 2011-04-30 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
A witch can be created a number of ways. There's no specific method to it.

I said it earlier. I simply exist.
