{Ginko appears on the Astral Plane, but he only gives the stars around a look of mild surprise. It’s about as much surprise as he can muster at all.}…Huh. I doubt that Shinra-kun painted all this.

{He takes off the wooden backpack, instead using it as a makeshift seat, instead looking at the stars all around and putting his handmade cigarette to his mouth. Compared to most people who have just arrived, Ginko seems pretty okay with it.} Can't say I've heard of a mushi that can do this, either. I guess that only leaves...No, it couldn't be real.

[There's something very appealing about this odd man's calm--it's not the frosty atmosphere of a Contractor on the job. It's just plain old peaceful. She approaches from the front, so as not to startle him, though she doesn't particularly think she needs the caution.]

I don't know which I'd prefer...But my name is Ginko, Kirihara-san. And, well, that's kind of a hard question to answer. I'm a traveling mushishi, so I'm not really from any village in particular.

Village to village? What year might you be living in? Forgive me--the question won't seem so odd, soon enough. And what is a mushishi? [Notes the -san and says,] But you're from Japan?

What year...? {He thinks about it before he shakes his head} Not sure. I don't really keep track of that anymore. It's summertime, though. But yes, I live in Japan. But mushishi...{He pauses to consider a way to explain it}

Well, in the world there's creatures called mushi. Most humans have lost the ability to see them, but those that can, they usually become mushishi. Mushi can cause sickness in people as well as some...weird circumstances, so I guess you could say I'm a traveling doctor.
