[Shion likes the forest on the Plane. It feels peaceful. Quiet. It gives him a place to think, and to recover a bit. He's there now, seated on the ground, back against a tree trunk. In front of it is what looks a bit like a golden lion statue. Both it and his own golden armor are cracked, chipped, and broken in places. He's looking at it in what almost looks like guilt, and anyone who's sensitive to such things will pick up on the aura of sadness and grief in the area. It almost seems to be coming from the lion itself. At last Shion speaks.]
I will see that you get back to Sanctuary. I owe it to your master to do that much for you, at least.

[Like a moth to a flame, but this has Mu staring. Intellectually he knew this would happen, but still, to see it...

Well, there's nothing he can say. Aiolia was his friend, and when the merging favoured Shion...well, Regulus was like a breath of fresh air.

So he approaches very quietly and folds himself down next to Shion.]

[Shion is torn between being comforted by Mu's presence and feeling even guiltier over what happened. Mu knew the Leo Saints as well. Eventually he feels he has to offer some sort of explanation] ...I was to late. I am sorry.

He defended Athena and the world with his life, and he dealt a mortal blow to one of Hades judges. [He can't imagine anyone surviving long after an attack like that. He has to believe that.] He died as a true Saint.

...I just did not want to leave his Cloth alone there. This was the only other place I could think of for it. ...Can you see it returns to Sanctuary?

[Saga approaches Shion a bit hesitant. He can feel that aura... from both the cloth and the former Aries Saint, and understands what's happening.

He will just... stand there, not sure if he should say something out of fear of being rejected harshly by Shion.]

[Shion senses Saga watching and looks up at him. Their eyes meet for a moment but then Shion drops his gaze. He isn't sure how to feel about Saga there, but he doesn't move to make him go away.]

[When his gaze meets Shion's, he can't help but shiver a little... just a little and stay silent for a moment. This Shion is so different from the one he knows: he's the one who knows what Saga will do to him in the future and can beat the hell out of him because of it. The wise and peaceful Shion who forgave him is light years away from the one Saga's looking at in a matter of personality.

After a few minutes, the Gemini has the courage to speak.]

The Saint of Leo has fallen... [Captain Obvious but... well... he doesn't know what to say to him...]

[That's two of them that really don't know what to say] Yes. I was unable to reach him in time. [There's guilt as he says the last part. If he had just been a bit faster, he might have been able to do something more...]

[Stares at the Leo Cloth with the same grief Shion has.] It was not your fault. A Saint is always prepared to die, so the others can accomplish their mission to protect Athena. His death was not in vain.

[Maybe it didn't sound as a sort of consolation, but he just wanted Shion to understand what a Saint's true mission is.]

[That earns Saga a glare] I am aware of that! [He turns back to the Cloth] I know a Saint's duty very well. Many have already given their lives just so we could reach this point.

[As he thought. You know? He's such an epic fail when it comes to Aries Saints. What could he say in this case? Saga had already earned his dislike, even if it wasn't visible. Just... looks down without saying anything. He can't even argue with him.]

[Shion is already in a bad mood. You aren't really helping, Saga. He gives you one last glare before turning back to the Leo Cloth.] Every Saint is taught what it means to serve Athena. My training was not neglected.

[Morgana feels the grief, and it draws her in with sorrow in her face.] What is... What happened to this?

[Shion doesn't answer immediately. He doesn't know how he's suppose to explain this to a stranger, nor does he really want to. But at last he says] It's the Cloth of a fallen warrior. [That seems enough of an explication to him.]

[Morgana is a lady of an old court; she has seen good knights die. She selects from the forest around them a long-stemmed flower and pulls off a scarf--a lady's token. Morgana kneels and sets each at the base of the armour, then bows her head in prayer for a fallen warrior.]

[Shion is rather shocked at her actions, but he is grateful from them as well. After a while he says quietly] ...Thank you.

[Her voice is quiet as well, her hands still clasped; she doesn't look up.] May I ask where your warriors go when they fall? [She wants to pray to and for his proper afterlife.]

[Shion tenses unconsciously, his eyes widening before he forces himself to relax and his fist to unclench. He knows where the soul of a Saint heads when it dies, and it's something he would rather not dwell on. At the same time, there is hope that perhaps what they will do will cause things to change.] ..Those that prove themselves are able to reach Elysium.

[Morgana almost catches on to the attitude change, but she works nothing from it. She assumes it is pain of the loss. She nods and turns her prayers to Elysium.] Thank you.
