[Misaki Kirihara appears on the plane looking very, very pissed. Her Sig P230 is unholstered and leveled at…

Tch.

[She lowers the weapon, very slightly, taking in her surroundings. Or rather, the lack thereof.]

Contractor!

[She turns in a slow circle, tension wrapped around her like a creaking spring.]

Contractor! Show yourself. You’re being stupid. Using your power on a member of the NPA will get you killed. It isn’t worth the laugh.

[A pause. She’s starting to get angry again.]

Show yourself!

[She looks up, down, around at the stars, and a pained expression crosses her face. Barely audible, she mutters,]

You people… know how to be cruel.

[unfortunately, the TARDIS is rather like this with anyone who isn't the Doctor] It has been my experience that those who actively seek it out and wish to learn more are those who have the least business travelling among the stars.

[Misaki does not know who or what she is dealing with, unfortunately enough for her.]

[narrows her eyes and does not stop, even with the joke comment] I fail to see how that is meant to be humourous.

It's my own particular humor. Unfortunately, most others never seem to get the joke. My apologies if you thought it rude. He is a good person, and I wasn't insulting him.

[Misaki crosses her arms thoughtfully.] A... lot, actually. About the Master, and the Cybermen, and the Daleks.

[Her face softens.] I'm sure he was glad to have you through all that.

[makes a face that says exactly what she thinks of all those things, the Master in particular, then looks away and nods] He was, yes. And will be, as his timeline is my future.

She's just a silly, stupid girl who ought never to have lived in the first place. Wretched thing is constantly leaving her knickers about and she's far too attached to the Doctor for my liking.

She leaves her 'knickers' around. You mean inside you? [That thought, Misaki has to admit, is pretty horrifying]

[the TARDIS, of course, thinks nothing of it] Dreadful, really. She makes a mess of my bathrooms all the time, as well, wet footprints all about and dirty underwear lying around my floors. If she touches my plumbing again, I've half a mind to scald her in her next shower.

[The fact that the TARDIS doesn't notice the obvious innuendo is a sign that Misaki should ignore it, too.]

She sounds annoying, to say the least. [Still can't quite get over the thought of dirty underwear carpeting her intestines.]

The Doctor said you were capable of realistic projections. [Curious Misaki is curious.] You normally don't look like this?

[the TARDIS tends not to get a lot of things that should otherwise be obvious. she's also just too used to people living inside her]

She is, yes. Whining and whinging about everything, honestly.

[tilts her head] These shapes of mine are simply a form of agitated protoplasm that allow my consciousness to take form so that I might better interact with others. I am, however, still a ship. [a pause] Would you like to see?

[doesn't wait for an answer, instead disappearing from the Plane, only to reappear a few moments later as her normal, police box shape, doors closed but a key waiting. she hums quietly in welcome, waiting for Misaki to enter]



[ooc: Just a note, her internal appearance is the same as it was from the movie, so it isn't the organic coral shape from the new TV series]

[She hesitantly turns the key and opens the door. There's a moment's pause at the fact that, well, the inside is bigger than the outside, but that is definitely not the weirdest part of Misaki's day. She steps inside, looking up at the criss-crossed irons struts, around at the telescope and globe and things that seem to fit better in that blue-lit space than they would in her father's study.]

You're beautiful.

[She says it far louder than is probably necessary, but she's not sure what the difference is, talking to the TARDIS from the outside as opposed to, well, the inside.]

[continues to hum quietly in welcome, the air warm and comfortable as she mentally nudges Misaki toward the hallway extending from the central control room, giving her the okay to explore. she even flicks on some lights to form a type of trail to follow, a tiny chime sounding in amusement at Misaki's rather loud exclamation, though really, there's no difference in how she talks to her, only how the TARDIS can talk back]
