005--What d'you mean "I'm different?"
[Rose is unusually bouncy]
Oh my god. This afternoon, yeah? I had the most amazing chips when I was out with Mickey. He bought me lunch for some reason, and those chips were absolutely sinful.
Speaking of Mickey...funny boy. Fit, too. Absolutely hilarious. Him and that gorgeous blonde friend of his, Jake. They tell the funniest stories. Positively knee-slapping.

[his ego is up +5!] I thought so.

Hilarious, really. And I trust you about my ankle, then.

Excellent! Though, I suppose that means no Torchwood antics for you.

[Not a whine, ohnoes] I'll have to stay in the office or at home all week.

Oooh, a desk job. Now that's exciting. Stamping papers and filing them and making copies... [tease~]

You're just making this worse!

Aw, it's only a week. Just give Mickey and Jake a good whack with a file if they rub it in.
no subject
A week is too long. ...and there are better ways to get back at them.

Already plotting your diabolical revenge?

They never should've given me a key to their flat.

Fish and chips? Anywhere you want. Oooh, you remember that chippy, somewhere along the Thames, where we used to get the fish and chips wrapped in newspaper? There's a parallel version of it, makes it just as good.

[and now he's distracted] It's there? Now that's lucky. I loved that place. Best fish and chips I've had in a long time and I've tried to find other places.

There's a parallel Dancing Pony on Carnaby, too. Their chips rival the ones on the Thames.

[grins] I'll have to sample those as well.
no subject
They're amazing.

You'll bring some for tea?
no subject
'course, if you'd like.
