[006].
[Stumbling onto the Plane is what, at first glance, appears to be a new arrival - a shorter man with rumpled hair, wearing an equally rumpled coat that is too large for him, checked trousers and a bow-tie. One hand is currently clutching at his head, and his eyes are closed as if in pain.]
Ooh, my head...
[The man opens his eyes slowly, squinting a little as if not sure what to expect. But when he sees where he is, he visibly relaxes and starts to head towards the kitchen. Apparently, he knows exactly where to go. However, he stops after a few steps and looks somewhat confused. Something doesn't feel right.]
Hey?
[He glances down at the trousers that he didn't have on a few minutes ago, then starts patting at various bits of clothing. His fingers grasp the bow-tie, tugging at it experimentally. Almost as if that's switched a light on in his head, he starts to feel at his face - slowly at first, then with increasing agitation as he goes over features that, while quite familiar, don't belong on his face. For a moment, he looks rather alarmed, then frowns deeply.]
Och, no. Not this again! You would think they would have gotten tired of this by now.
[It sounds like something Jamie would say...except the voice is lacking his normal Scottish accent. Instead, he sounds like, well, Two.]
Does anyone have a mirror?

Does anyone have a mirror?

no subject
[busts out laughing at that thought] No, thank god! I can't imagine what that would be like! I'd be all sort of... [flicks her hands out from her face in an imitation of his curls and widens her eyes for a second, grinning with all her teeth showing] I couldn't take myself seriously!
[curiously] Is that who that is? Is that your Doctor?
no subject
[His face lights up in realization, and he starts rummaging through what he finds to be surprisingly deep pockets.] Hey, maybe the Doctor has a mirror in here, somewhere...
[His fingers close around something and he pulls out...a small white bag, which may look familiar to Olivia.] Well, that's not it. [He goes to put it back, then thinks better of it and offers the bag out.] Sweet?
no subject
[but she smiles when she sees that bag. reaches into the satchel she's carrying, withdrawing an identical white bag and holding it out for Jamie to see] The Doctor--the pinstripe one--is my Doctor right now. He had one, too.
no subject
Oh, aye, is he? [He's caught the smile, and saw the bag, but is still hunting for that mirror and therefore only paying half attention to what Olivia is saying. It seems to have been worth it, though, as he finally finds what he's looking for.]
Ah! [And one look later, he finally does confirm his suspicions.] Och. Sorry, did you say something?
no subject
Just that we're not the only ones this has happened to. [is still holding out that bag of jelly babies]
no subject
[He gives the bag of jelly babies a closer look, then realizes what she's on about.] Oh! So it's not an experiment, then.
no subject
[takes a jelly baby from it, popping it in her mouth and chewing as she puts the bag back in her satchel] I dunno. It might be, but if it is, it's not the sort they only do on one person.
no subject
You mean they can do experiments to more than one person at a time?
[It hasn't occurred to him that everyone being dragged to the Plane and being forced to stay there for a month could be considered an experiment.]

Experiments are when they change your face or make you a kid again. I've not seen that happen to more than one person at a time before.
no subject
But how are those any different? I mean, they're all more of their games.
no subject
[What Olivia is saying makes too much sense, though, and Jamie frowns.]
I'd not thought about it like that before. So what you're saying is that everything that happens here is some sort of experiment?

No, hey, wait. What if we have something that they need somehow? Like with the Daleks, when they wanted to find the human factor.

[It occurs to him, a little belatedly, she still might have that amnesia from the citrus foam.] Er...you do remember the others?
no subject
I think so. I do remember the deathmatches--Shay, and Weber, and the King. Were there many others?
no subject

But what would any of them get out of doing this?
no subject
I just wish I knew what it was.
