[There is a sign pointing towards the ballroom, which has been decked out for Christmas. There is a tree waiting to be decorated. There is a table with cookies and a Christmas cake and snacks and things. There is a buffet line for dinner and a bar set up with champagne and eggnog and various drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There are paper cut out snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. There is mistletoe to be found in various spots. Karaoke in one corner. Sawako brought along her kitchen from home for the occasion to set up a Christmas cookie making station, too. There's music and gifts and food and drinks and mistletoe. What else could anyone want?]

[In a darker corner some mysterious figure brought along a Festivus Pole, too. There's room for wrestling for the Feats of Strength and a table set up so people can gather around for the Airing of the Grievances. Sawako has no idea where these things came from, but she's not about to infringe on someone's effort to celebrate the holidays.]

Put the name of the person your character is giving a gift to in the subject line of your reply to that thread so they'll know to respond. [This pole is sitting by itself. What's the point of it? Who knows.]

[a kitchen table is set up with a lot of chairs around it. A place card is set on the table explaining that this is a place to tell people how they've disappointed you over the past year.]

[a wrestling mat is set up with a large sign next to it reading "Feats of Strength." Taped to the back of the sign there is a note explaining that you may challenge someone to a wrestling match, the first one pinned loses.]

[Braxiatel sets down a box, neatly wrapped in very kitschy snowman wrapping paper, down under the tree. It has Christine's name on it.]

[Christine sets a gift bag in the designated Secret Santa area. She doesn't really know the person she got, but she did her research and came up with a little pocket mirror with a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it. She hopes he likes it, but if not, he can just stick it in a drawer and forget about it.]

[Christine doesn't know if there are any other Christines hanging around, but she figures she might as well take the gift and just deal with it if another Christine turns up to complain. She smirks at the cute wrapping paper and begins to unwrap it.]

[Folded neatly is a blue dress and a simple sapphire pendant to go with it.]

[Braxiatel is dutifully over by the champagne, pouring himself another glass of bubbly]

[For Oliver, Sebastian has managed to find an ancient and venerable stuffed rabbit, still soft. The tag on its neck has Oliver's name written on it in a fairly messy scrawl. Sebastian is, of course, telling it to behave.]

[Nathan, totally willing to be the biggest scrooge at this party (due in part to him hating Christmas and also the fact CHRISTMAS WAS MONTHS AGO GUYS GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!), has for now resigned to booze. He is wearing a perfectly disapproving scowl. Grrr.

[He says nothing beyond that but proceeds to get himself some alcoholic beverage of some sort because by god he will get drunk. It is the only way to make this horrible monstrosity tolerable.]

[In, perhaps, a simple wrapping of a woolly sort of cloth, tied together and tagged 'Firesong' in atrocious handwriting is a pendant tied on a leather string, as well as Matching earrings and bracelet.]

[In a wooden box, there is a simple, but rather prettyshort sword, (http://www.fast-autos.net/diecast-cars-models/diecast-car-image-large/antique-ornate-dirk-dagger-bowie-short-sword-knife-old_320619470122.jpg) carefully swaddled and insulated with cloth. Nestled in with it is a little note "It's kept me safe before. I hope it can do the same for you."]

[Sup gaiz? Who wants to challenge the Saint?]

[as Oliver has been living on the Plane, his gift is wrapped in simple brown paper that he found...who knows where. inside is a book that, considering children take charge and it's a lot about family, is something he hopes Isaac would enjoy--and might make him relax for a bit]

[Jamie sets down a slender rectangular box with Dino's name on it. Inside is a very nicely crafted dirk - much like his own - along with a leather sheath bearing the likeness of a stallion. The mane of the stallion has been done in such a way that it looks like it is made out of flames.]

[Firesong has very carefully carried his gift to the appointed place. It's a set of three rather large, brightly glowing crystals that have a few silver wires wrapped artistically around them. The light coming from the crystal has a faint golden tint, and is bright enough to read by. They are also floating an inch or so off the ground and currently are held together by an elaborately tied red ribbon that has been decorated with several of Aya's iridescent white feathers.]

[Dino carefully brings over brightly wrapped box bearing a tag that reads 'Data' on it. Carefully nestled inside the box is an antique clock (http://www.inessa.com/Images/2107-11535IM1.jpg).]
