[Somewhere in the library, there is a map spread open on a table, held in place with a few books on every corner. Most of them are language books, and they are all dog-eared and bookmarked. The map itself is dotted with about two dozen little tabs, and nearby is a list of location names, ranging all over the world and beside it is a list of Constellations, with a small hyphen to correlate the two. There's a half-empty cup of tea on the table, an open thermos resting by the table leg, and several sounds of general frustration coming from a few rows away. ]

How is it that in a library this large, I cannot find a single, simple, English book?

[He'd headwall, if doing so wouldn't upset the entire floor's worth of books. So instead, he rubs at the bridge of his nose and sighs.]

And how is it that in the entirety of those left at Sanctuary, there are so few languages amongst them?

Which book were you looking for?

Something from which I can learn rudimentary English. This Library looks to hold texts from every other language in every other universe, but for the one I seek.

Greek, typically. Unfortunately, there's nobody left in the Sanctuary, that I know of, that speaks English.

Well, if I can't find a good translation source, I could make one.

If there were someone mad enough to take up the task, he would have my unending respect.

I'm sure there's someone that insane. I prefer to follow the books by subject matter.

I've scoured the Language areas already.

Have you tried pulling books out until they're replaced with the book you want?

[LIBRARY. The place where are a lot of books are! And people go there to READ! It's almost the same for Hiccup as Valhalla to the heroes. Really.]

I'm really starting to think I've died in some way... Mu! [ASDFSFGH People! Hiccup goes rigid for a few moments then realizes Mu won't beat him into the ground for being here. Indeed he looks like he... likes... to read... Alright he just looks annoyed.] Wow, Mu! You are searching for a book? For real?

[Awkward grin.] I don't know. I- I- I actually never seen a library before, I mean I knew it has books and all, but but I don't know the rules around here...

[That turn's Mu's air of general irritation to somewhat amused.]

I see. Well, as there is no Librarian, the general rules are to keep your voice down as to not disturb others, and try not to take a book too far from where you found it.

No wonder vikings wouldn't go to libraries. [He whispers.] Oooh, what does a librarian do? Um, I heard that in a few places you can borrow books? Like bringing it home and read it there, right?

A librarian is responsible for keeping the books in order. I don't think anyone would mind if you took some books home to read, so long as you return them.

An English text. I need to learn the rudiments of several languages, English being among them.
