[When he appears on the plane, he's still in his suit and had been about to go change. He'd just come back in time to put his children to bed, relieving Miles of his duties.]

Hello? James? Phillipa? Miles?

[Cobb, however, was greeted with silence and a part of him felt a bit of panic start to slide in. It had him reaching into his pocket and pulling out the spinning top, it was time to see if this was real or not. So taking the top, he spins it and watches it spin. Spin and spin and spin until it stops and topples over. Once it's done that he scoops it back up and shoves it into his pocket.]

This isn't funny! Whatever game this is, it isn't funny and you better hope I don't find you. Because if I do... Oh, trust me you'll regret it.

[He has no clue who he's actually hollering at, but he doesn't like it. The feel of this place... the way it looks... That's when he notices the building and heads inside.]

Can somebody...

[Empty... the place was completely and totally empty]

Who's idea was this? I want an answer and I want it now.

I'm not entirely convinced someone else didn't, but yes. It wasn't Ariadne.

And yet... [That's when the top wobbles and topples over.] it's real.

This place can't be real. However, we wouldn't truly know either. [With those words he picks his top back up.] We know what my totem does within a dream and yet it isn't doing that here.

It's not any kind of 'real' I've encountered before.

Neither have I, which bothers me. [There's also only one way to return home from a dream.]

[Arthur was normally pretty good with knowing what he was thinking...] What do you mean you don't wake up?
