[With the monsters gone, the Plane really is a much friendlier place. Botta doesn't seem to be enjoying it, though, as he sits at a table in the library; indeed, it seems that whatever's on his mind is causing him a great deal of stress. And for someone who was sure he would never want to come back after the ordeal of the last month was over, he's returned pretty quickly.

He sighs deeply.] He'd only put me on medical leave. Even I have a hard time believing it, when I'm not here.

[Someone's agonizing over how to explain to his boss that he knows what's going to happen in the future, and why he knows it. He hasn't yet come up with any ideas that wouldn't get him locked in the loony bin, though.]

I don't want to change too much; the future he lives in seems to be a good one, and it would be a shame to throw that off-track. ...But I'm not the type to sit by and submit to fate as an inevitable force, either.

[Careless? He hadn't thought of it that way - it was a chance to know what was coming, and in the uncertain business of rebellion, he was willing to take any advantage he could get.]

...Would it be better if I simply allowed fate to unfold, then? It's not a question I've had to consider before now.
