[Alex is used to being trapped in places for long periods of time against her will, so she's less concerned by the current events on the Plane and more... annoyed.

At least, she was. Right now she is stumbling through a busy section of the Plane with urgency, her head whipping around as she searches for something she hasn't found yet.

If your character is to approach her now, whether they've met her in the past or not, they will find her face change from panic to tender recognition. She stands completely still, as if no one around her exists anymore, a calm smile claiming her face as she stares at your character.]

... Molly?

[She'll approach your character quickly, tears brimming her eyes as her smile turns into a desperate grin.]

Molly, is that really you? What are you doing here?

[Alex realizes she may have jumped the gun, and waves her hands to dispel the tension.]

No! Well, yes. But, she's different. She's made an effort to change and I think she's been quite successful.

[shakes her head] No. Not in my world, anyway. He's...a unique case.

[she nods] It's strange, what kind of things drive people to change while others just stay the same. It must be just as hard of a process for vampires as it is humans.

It's...a strange one. When people are turned, they lose their souls - their conscience, their empathy, their connection to humanity. [shakes her head] That's what the soul seems to be, anyway.

That's the essence of the human condition. Maybe that's the only thing that makes us human. I wasn't sure how much I believed any of that before, but I'm starting to realize there is more to human consciousness than can be explained by books or psychology.
