[considering the hell of being chased around by zombie-like creatures, having the ever-living daylights scared out of her by whatever's lurking in the water, and now those plant things (one tried to use the image of her father and that just angered her more than anything), Donna's current peaceful, wistful demeanour is...a bit surprising.
she's sitting in a dining room area of the onsen away from all those mad things, her hands cupped around a steaming hot cup of tea that she hasn't really touched yet. it's there more to give her hands something to hold rather than to drink. she looks as if she might have been crying a moment ago if the slightly red and puffy eyes are anything to judge, but she still wears a hint of a smile on her face]
This place... Monsters and deadly creatures are nothing. They're much easier to face. But those images... [she pauses, her eyes drifting to the chair opposite her. that smile fades away]
This place is too cruel.

[Gwen sits down without asking, a cuppa in her hand, and she offers a gentle smile.]
Don't know if you remember me. I'm Gwen Cooper.

[gives her a slightly confused look] I'm Donna, Donna Noble, but I don't think we've ever met.

[She shrugs, sipping her tea.] We only met for a minute, though. Bit of a mess, all that. Not really surprised you don't remember me.

[She looks legitimately concerned.] Well, let's just hope I haven't gone and bollocksed up the entire bloody universe. Jack'll kill me.

But who's Jack? Your boyfriend, or something?

I can't remember if they've met! But I don't think so? :|b
They haven't, actually!
:D

I'm Donna, by the way.
