[Sherlock is bored and decided to do some research. Or maybe he's just annoyed that he feels terrible emotions from zombies. Either way, he's currently leaning out a window on the top floor of the library.
He has a pile of meat in a bucket and has rigged up a simple pulley system to lower meat down to the ground. Why? Well, he's luring zombies. Luckily, he's leaning out the back of the library, so no zombie crowds at the doors but still.
He also has a pair of revolvers and ammo from the weapons table. Every so often, Sherlock aims down and fires. He's trying for headshots. Sometimes, the zombies die. This pleases him greatly.]
[ooc: Empath on deck, so please to be telling me your character's feelings if they tag. ♥]

I'm sure Watson-sama approves of this much more than shooting holes in the walls.

[He's interrupted by screeching down below and leans out.] Shut up, all of you! [He shoots off a few bullets and slumps back in his chair, smiling at her.] Noisy, aren't they?
no subject
Are - are they in pain?
no subject
They're burning with hate.
no subject
[she leans out the window again, looking down at them]
They - they started screaming before you shot them. They were in pain all ready. [she pulls herself back and turns around to face Sherlock. She's still sad for them, but there is some hopefulness and admiration for Sherlock in there, too] You - you were helping them, weren't you Sherlock-sama?

I'm luring them all to this spot to kill them. This place feels heavy enough without them adding their rage to it.

Be my guest.

John had a similar weapon to this. Are they common?

[Jade leans out the window, casually picking out a target.]
no subject
None. Though technology can be impressive at times. A soldier can aim a missile at a target via computers from a continent away. Air-based warfare is quite important, though in the end, it's soldiers and guns on the ground that make up the blunt of it.

Wiping her knife clean, she stepped into the library and made her way over to Sherlock. She was curious and, when she saw the dead creatures beneath the window, rather admiring. He was a warrior, then.]
So you are the one who has been luring my prey away from my blade?
[But she was smiling as she spoke.]
no subject
I would apologise but I'm not sorry. My skills are a bit rusty and there's so many targets. [He nudges the bucket of meat with his foot.] They know what they're after, at least. It makes it almost too easy.
no subject
[She tilted her head to study him.]
You want a challenge?
no subject
[Though he nods and sighs.]
Yes, I do. I'm bored. I haven't been able to make progress on finding who made this choice and I refuse to stagnate for even a moment. I need something.
no subject
No, neither have I. Not the choice that trapped us here.

You! [he approaches Sherlock looking over the revolvers and Sherlock, then out the window, and back to Sherlock once again] Were you the one striking those things down?

My, what a clever boy. Luring the poor things closer to pick them off from afar? It really is wonderful to see people enjoying themselves.
