[Sirkka looks like she just took a bath! In the bathhouse, no less. There may be creepy-crawlies around, but that doesn't mean she can skip out on hygiene. She draws a comb through her long hair methodically as she perches barefoot on the bar, wearing a purple silk yukata.]

It's rather quiet for a zombie apocalypse. Now I'm starting to worry.

Oh, what a relief. I thought perhaps you were here to fence a masked vigilante and steal away the governor's daughter. [lol zorro]

[Anyway, she's crossing her legs the other way and continuing to brush out her hair.] There wasn't much of a choice last time. A lot of people still died...

... But I'd like to think we wouldn't be trapped for so long now that we're expecting it.

[oh, that gets a grin] Well, I am very good with a sword. Which, come to that, might well come in handy if the power in this miserable weapon runs out.

[and then he affects a pout] Do I really look so different? [pulls off the helmet, shaking out the soft blond hair; he did wash recently, so it doesn't look too bad]

I suppose the clothes really do make the man, which just depresses me further.

[raises his eyebrows, before chuckling] Why thank you, Sirrka. That makes me feel...very little, but then I try not to feel very much at the best of times.

[his expression freezes]

[coolly] Not in the slightest - which is very strange, because I never say anything unless I mean to.

[he didn't mean to say that, either, but that's far less damaging; he regards her intently as he lowers himself onto a stool]

[She sighs and bows her head, looking down at the comb in her palm.]

It's-- if it's a compulsion to be honest, which I think it is, then it's a consequence of what I thought would be a beneficial decision on my part...

I was taken from the Plane and placed in a very tiny room with only a computer and two buttons. There was no way to leave except to make a choice. I thought perhaps a well-thought-out choice could bring us to the heart of the matter and find a way home, and so I... I said I wanted truth, instead of lies, and that's what's affecting you.

[She continues to sit, somewhat slumped, and regretful.]
