Cat Stuck in a Tree
[So. Luke has wandered out of Tear's watchful eyes and managed to get himself stuck in a very odd position. You see, Luke is currently in a tree. It is true that the zombies don't enter the forest but this particular tree has branches extending out past the border. There is a creature under the sturdy branch Luke has chosen to sit in, just wandering in circles and growling.
Luke stretches out over the tree and tries to shoo the thing away, his sword still in its sheath.]
J-Just go away! What the hell are you anyway? You look like you were human...
[He shudders and grips the branch.] I said go away, damn it!!
[And his shouting draws a couple more curious, hungry things.] How can you things even hear?! [With a huff, Luke sits back against the tree trunk, safe in his branch. He figures they'll wander off eventually.
Yes, he could just, you know, go into the forest. But he's busy thinking this is way too disturbing for words.] I want to go home... [He reaches back and grips his sword. He's debating fighting them but it isn't so easy to decide.]

[And all around Luke, molten rocks smash into the ground, burning the creatures out of existence. But Luke, his tree, and the ground itself are unharmed. Hooray for Friend-or-Foe slots! Jade steps forwards and adjusts his glasses, looking at the one zombie still walking.]
I missed one. Luke, will you finish it off?
no subject
Can't you get it?!

[It's tempting to close his eyes but the thing moves too fast for him to really risk it. There isn't much time to think or worry and so Luke jams his sword into the thing's chest and cuts up, pushing back in the same motion. The mess left isn't pleasant but the creature collapses onto the ground twitching. Luke looks away as he stabs it again to make it stop moving.
Then he simply stands there, breath shaking a little.]

Nebula Stream!
[There's a rustle of wind as streams of air wrap themselves around the zombies, freezing them is place. Then Shun pauses and looks up toward Luke's tree.] Are you all right?
no subject
[Luke sighs and jumps down out of the tree.] I was just... waiting for them to go away.

Nebula Storm! [The wind streams merge and form a raging tornado that sucks in the zombies and a few branches, then throws everything high into the air. They're lost to sight as the tornado vanishes...then everything comes falling back to earth. The shredded remains of the zombies slam into the ground, twitch, then are still.]

Oh, I guess you thought it was a good idea too! I guess not...I thought it would go away, but they're smarter than they look. They're loud, too!
{She looks down, then over to Luke with a sheepish smile}
Looks like we're stuck for now. Umm... Hi, I'm Noa!

{Her stupidly-long tail falls a bit, but she brings it back up quickly, holding it much closer to her and not dangling from the tree}
Oh, they didn't hurt me. They just started screaming and it really startled me! One of them grabbed me, but it was alright since my frame is strong enough to withstand pretty high applied pressure. What about you? Um, the "hurting you" part, not the "withstanding pressure" part.
no subject
U-Uh, oh, I'm fine, yeah. They saw me and I just sort of...ran, I guess. Uhm, your... [tail. tail. tail.]] - Wait what's the part mean about pressure?

[There's blur of black and grey, the flash of a sword, and a whirlwind of dark red hair. Rotten blood spills everywhere, and the zombies find themselves lacking arms or legs— and with the help of a finishing arte, their heads.
Also, they twitch.
Slaughter taken care of, Asch sheaths his sword with a snap and starts to walk toward the forest, but with his back turned to Luke. He doesn't feel like answering questions, and he knows it's better not to show his face for now.]

Hey! You can't just walk away after that!
no subject
Stop following me you worthless reject!
no subject
What the hell is the matter with you?! You're the one who just saved me! - I mean, you know, got rid of them. Whatever.

[Arthur still has his sword ready though, as he leans against the tree, underneath the branch Luke is perched on, still on the forest side so that the zombie thing can't get him]
Do you need assistance?

... Don't tell me I got lost again. I was just trying to find the--
[... zombies.]
-- bathroom.
[One of them turns its head toward the sound of the new voice. Daisuke yelps quite realistically and beelines right for the nearest (Luke's) tree. He doesn't have any problems scaling it at all, especially since he has a running start. The problem arises when he realizes Luke is on the same branch he's chosen for himself. Daisuke manages to fling himself out of the way just in time, only touching Luke's branch to switch directions, and lands on the branch above.
He takes a minute to collect himself, panting a little bit, and then giving the tiniest little laugh. It's an 'oh god we're gonna die' kind of laugh. He's good at those.]
... S-so... um...
Hi.
no subject
H-How the hell did you do that, kid?!
[Goddamn ninjas, man.]
no subject
Anyway, Daisuke just pretends to look clueless at the accusation.]
I... ah... just got lucky, I guess.
[QUICK! SUBJECT CHANGE!]
Whoa, is that a sword?! [... No one carries around swords unless they're Ax Crazy Krad. But this guy doesn't seem that crazy. So yippee!]
