He is getting me a Christmas gift later this week. I wish to return the favour.

Oh, well, then. What sort of gift would you like to give?

Something simple that would be meaningful to him. Were he his Eighth, I would know exactly what to give. But each regeneration is different and I still do not know his Tenth well enough to be comfortable in my choice.

Doesn't help that his version of meaningful can change from day to day. [Have a thoughtful Rose] You could dance with him. Not much of a present, though.

I have a feeling that he'd anything you give him meaningful. What 'bout something small, that he could carry with him? Sorta like a good luck charm?

I have danced with him. [smiles faintly] He was surprisingly good. He told me he learned from a French courtesan whom he rather fancied.

But ... yes, I do believe something small would be best. I was thinking one of those trinkets from Earth, since he's so fond of the planet. The ones in the glass ball.

Oh, he'd love one of those. They make some that have glitter instead of snow, though, if you don't want it to be snowy.

[and now her attention is back!] So I've gathered from speaking with him. Very well, I shall have to obtain the necessary parts. Where might I do so? And is there anything else you feel this regeneration would like?

Oh, I'm sure you can get those things anywhere. You just need a little glass or plastic dome, glitter, some plastic buildings, and paint.

Anything else he'd like....[Bites lip, thinking] What 'bout you? Like, you could give him a picture or a miniature of you. Or maybe a small piece of you. Dunno how that'd work, though.

I wonder if I don't all ready have the parts in one of the old bedrooms. I shall have to check. Thank you, Rose Tyler.

And ... a piece of me? He all ready has me, though. Well ... as I am after the Time War. How would having a piece of me be meaningful? Though a picture ... perhaps of his companions?

Oh, that'd be brilliant. I bet he'd love that.

He's mentioned something about someone named Martha, but that's all I know.

Oh, Captain Jack Harkness traveled with us for a while, too, if you want to include him.

Ah yes, Martha. One of the humans who saved me from the Master. I shall have to get her image from myself, or from him somehow. [makes a face] And I suppose I'll have to include the Fact, as well, loathe though I am to do so.
