[ time doesn't return ]
[A young man of strong stature bearing dark armor and long red hair stands in the middle of the Plane. His lips are pressed into a thin line, sharp eyebrows on the verge of explosion, the only real hint that he just might be a little unnerved. It all feels very real, especially as he looks down at the same report he had in his hand when he popped out of existence in Yulia City. He shoves it back into his tunic quickly and assumes a defensive position.]
There's no way he could have...
[He unsheathes the huge broadsword at his side and glares around at the Plane, the stoic expression fading into one of aggravation as he realizes the illusion isn't budging anytime soon.]
I know you're there. Show yourself right now!
[Whether it be monster or man, this is obviously a trap and the only way to get out of it is to kill things.]

There's just one thing that bothers me. How many different futures does Auldrant have? There's the established history, the Score, that people adhere to-- which makes everything else adhere to it as well, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy with that momentum.
If the Score was changed at Akzeriuth-- even by a fraction-- then trying to undo that might make it snap back to what the Score predicted. Which would mean...
[All of this would be for nothing. He rubs at his temple.]

Asch has to think about this.]
We don't have time to educate people about the dark side of the Score.

[It's pretty obvious what he thinks of that idea.]

Don't be afraid to ask for directions.
