[sitting at a desk in the middle of the Astral Plane, working on his paperwork like a good little nancy boy. And, like a good little nancy boy, he's listening to a broadway musical. On the glasses Fumie gave him, to be specific.

In fact, he's singing along to one. Yes indeed, Sam's singing "If You Were Gay."]

It's a... comedy show. Forget it. Do you watch a lot of Disney movies?

Oh! Well, not...a lot. [because Disney is for kids] I like some of them.

Like what? Probably haven't seen most of them, but maybe I have.

I like Hansel and Gretal. And Mulan. And The Twelve Dancing Princesses.

... I don't think I've actually seen any of those. I am old.

Maa, but you don't look that old for an adult. We could watch them sometime.

I'd love to.

Then we can do that sometime soon.

Oh! Sam? Uhm...would you do me a favour?

[seriously] I was thinking about how I don't like this place but I like the people I've met here. But it seems unlikely that this will last forever. And... [shifts her weigh from one foot to the other] I want you to leave me a message if things ever go back to normal. Just so I know things turned out all right for you. Uhm, I'm sure you could. I don't know any other 'Hashimoto Fumie's in Daikoku in this year...

[stares for a moment, and then takes a step forwards and wraps his arms around her, tightly] I will, promise.

[hugs him back tighter than normal and nods] Good.

[just holds her for a bit, for he is clingy, anyway]

[lets him, then pulls back and shifts awkwardly. that was a lot of emotions.] Uhm, so... [failing to think of a topic to jump to] Your jacket looks nice today! [fails]

Don't be afraid to talk to me about that sort of thing, all right?

[fidgets a bit but nods] All right, Sam.

Good. [squeezes her hand gently] ...How was school today?

[smiles] Ah! I got one of my papers back! I did really well on it.

Good! What class?

English! And okay, it wasn't exactly a paper. It was a paragraph. That was tough, though.

English is still a popular language to learn?

[nods] You have to take it for a few years at least. I watched some English movies to help me study. I think it works!
