[sitting at a desk in the middle of the Astral Plane, working on his paperwork like a good little nancy boy. And, like a good little nancy boy, he's listening to a broadway musical. On the glasses Fumie gave him, to be specific.

In fact, he's singing along to one. Yes indeed, Sam's singing "If You Were Gay."]

So it's a 'I do the thankless jobs because they have to be done', type of situation? You're a good person Sam.

Really? I could've sworn the word they use for it is 'anal retentive.'

You shouldn't be hard on yourself like that. You catch bad guys, don't you?

Sometimes. And sometimes they walk right out your front door, smiling and laughing, you and them knowing they got away with murder and there's nothing you can do to stop 'em hurting more innocents.

God, that's cynical. Sorry, I'm not usually like this. Well, maybe I am. But it's worse - paperwork isn't good for lifting anyone's mood.

[Dino is totally going to ignore the fact that he is technically a murder. Because, hey, he would never, ever hurt an innocent and he doesn't feel any sympathy for those that would.] What about the guys you do catch? They can't hurt anyone anymore.

Everyone gets moody when they have to do paperwork.

Those are the good days.

With very good reason.

But there are good days. That's worth something, isn't it? [Smiles]

Yeah, it is. Don't get me wrong. I love what I do. Couldn't imagine doing anything else. But some days...

You wonder why you even got out of bed that morning and start wondering what you were thinking when you decided to take this job?

Something like that, yeah. What do you do?

I work for the Health and Safety commission.

Health and Safety? God.

[Dino is amused by Sam's reaction]

You don't seem the sort, really. Sounds a bit... [waves a hand at Dino] Not like it matches.

[Dino kind of does regret saying the first thing that popped into his head when he was asked, but he knows he has to play along so...] That's what everyone says. [Laughes] I think it's the clothes. I'll dress up when I actually have to work, but I like to be comfortable the rest of the time.

What do you do in Health and Safety, anyway?

I'm an inspector.

What does that entail? Aside from the obvious 'inspecting.'

[Dino is not stupid, he choose a job that he at least knew something about]Going around making sure business are following health and safety guidelines, writing up reports, checking to make sure accidents are the results of business not following the guidelines...that sort of stuff. It really doesn't make me popular with some people though.

A lot of paperwork?

Yeah, sometimes. [Dino is used to paper work. He has to read reports and kept up to date on what's going on with his men] It depends on how busy things are.

And you enjoy it?

Not really. I just try to forget about paperwork when I'm not working.

Maybe you should look into something else.
