[Sirius Black is in the bar, though he hasn't started in on the alcohol yet. He's simply nursing a cup of tea, and staring into space (no pun intended) -- forgive him, he's a little disoriented. Eventually, he speaks;]

Generally when you get killed, it means someone else was around to do the killing...only we didn't see anyone else. Didn't even see the spells fired off. I suppose they could've been using an Invisibility Cloak, or a Disillusionment charm. But I thought Remus, Harry and I were the only ones around from our world...


[he goes back to his tea for a long moment, then mutters;] Hurry up, Moony.

It's not! I mean...I don't think it is. I'd rather be able to come than not. But I wish I knew what'd happened to you--and how to protect other people from it.

Really? [smirks] That sounds good. [grabs two glasses, pouring one for each of them] There you go. Should be a good way to wash down your tea!

[yumm, Firewhiskey] Merlin, that's exactly what I needed. Should've mixed it with the tea in the first place. Maybe I ought to suggest it to the Twins...

[oliverplus]

Yeah...

[smiles at that] Glad to help! All right, let's see what this is like... [goes back around to his seat before he picks up his glass, taking a long--no, not quite, because now he's coughing. he thought it would be strong, but he wasn't expecting that]

[seriousmarauder]

[Sirius is laughing, and patting Oliver on the back] You alright, mate? Told you it burned a bit.

[oliverplus]

Yeah, it's...[cough]...it's good. [tries to smile, but he starts coughing again] Whoa...

[seriousmarauder]

[pours him a cup of water] Here, drink this. And maybe we can find you a Butterbeer...

[oliverplus]

I'm all right! [coughs again before he starts slowly drinking the water] Besides, I can't waste the rest of the glass.

[seriousmarauder]

[amused] That's the spirit! I'll have you drinking me under the table one of these days.

[oliverplus]

Switch the drink, and you're on right now!

[finishes off the water, then picks up his glass of firewhiskey again. he's more reserved when he takes a drink this time; he's learned his lesson] Wow... [gives a small cough, but at least he didn't choke this time] That's strong.

Told you it was called Firewhiskey for a reason. Now, what's your drink of choice?

[oliverplus]

I'm more of a regular whisky person myself. But I could get used to this. [takes another sip, shaking his head. that's an impressive drink]

[innocently] You want to take back that switching the drink idea, then?

[oliverplus]

Depends whether we're just enjoying it or drinking each other under the table.
