[Daisuke appears on the Astral Plane rather unceremoniously. Apparently he was in the middle of walking, because as soon as he takes another step he just... FALLS. And it’s not like he tripped over anything. He just ceased to defy gravity. Anyway, with that Dojikko-flavored stunt he's left faceplanting in the middle of a snowdrift, with his books and binders scattered around him. Pencils, a bendy ruler and all of his cute little animu erasers are lost to the endless black starry floor of the Plane as well.]

Mmmphhh... [He lifts his head out of the snow and spits out... whatever that was. This snow is obviously misplaced in addition to being stained a disgusting oily-sparkly-black-brown.] ... Snow? But it was sunny. [He sits up and dusts himself off, then realizes he's not in Azumano anymore. He’s a little slow on the uptake, okay? But the point is, he's here now, so it's time to—

—scream a bit! Just a little bit!] What happened to Azumano? ... What happened to the ground?! How— how bad did I fall?!

... This is bad. Where did I end up this time? [SIIIIIGH.]

You won't be able to bring anyone else here. Not just Dark, but anyone else you know. For that price, they seem to be kept more or less safe from what this place sometimes does.

[Not accusatory:] Is that why you didn't tell me?

[The coldness of it makes him blink, but if Satoshi held it back from Daisuke... it was likely to protect him. If Daisuke knew anything at all about this place before, he would've tried to find a way in, ESPECIALLY considering he didn't like Satoshi to be alone in dangerous places. (Who does?)

It's a smart move on Satoshi's part. Frustrating for Daisuke, but he's the teeniest bit flattered that Satoshi would try to protect him.

They'd definitely find the root of all the death that had happened on the Plane!]

Ah... I think I'm going to look around.

Then I'll come with you. [It is, of course, because he knows the place, and not out of concern for Daisuke. Or at least that's what he feels like believing.]

Um— [Wow. Awesome. His smile returns!] Okay! You don't mind showing me around?

[Daisuke takes a moment to scan the floor to make sure he didn't miss something, then he gets back up.]

Four floors. [Satoshi puts his hands in his pockets and starts off towards it]

Wow...! [He follows.] Do you spend a lot of time there, Hiwatari-kun? [Daisuke isn't a huge book nerd or anything, and he's not accusing Satoshi of being one either, but come on. LIBRARY FROM ANOTHER WORLD. Who wouldn't?]

It helps to get work done. [There's also an unspoken benefit that Satoshi plans on keeping unspoken. He opens the door to the library and steps in first, making a cursory look around to see if anything has changed. Usually, at least one thing has moved on him, though he hasn't quite figured out if this is from the people or because the Plane enjoys that sort of thing.]

It's nice and quiet. [He looks around too, but pays less attention to detail and simply tries to take in the whole place at once. This is a beautiful place. He'll definitely need to come back.]

The ballroom's all right too. There's a house here, but I haven't gone in.

There's a house? [Because this is more amazing than a ballroom.] Why would someone live here? I mean, it's pretty, but... they must really hate their neighbors or something.

Perhaps they're a criminal escaping justice.
