[Daisuke appears on the Astral Plane rather unceremoniously. Apparently he was in the middle of walking, because as soon as he takes another step he just... FALLS. And it’s not like he tripped over anything. He just ceased to defy gravity. Anyway, with that Dojikko-flavored stunt he's left faceplanting in the middle of a snowdrift, with his books and binders scattered around him. Pencils, a bendy ruler and all of his cute little animu erasers are lost to the endless black starry floor of the Plane as well.]

Mmmphhh... [He lifts his head out of the snow and spits out... whatever that was. This snow is obviously misplaced in addition to being stained a disgusting oily-sparkly-black-brown.] ... Snow? But it was sunny. [He sits up and dusts himself off, then realizes he's not in Azumano anymore. He’s a little slow on the uptake, okay? But the point is, he's here now, so it's time to—

—scream a bit! Just a little bit!] What happened to Azumano? ... What happened to the ground?! How— how bad did I fall?!

... This is bad. Where did I end up this time? [SIIIIIGH.]

[Smiles a little] You wouldn't happen to be from Japan by any chance, would you?

Huh... It's like downtown.

[Come to think of it, Dino is a weird name. But he figured it was a nickname, or he was a foreigner who just happened to speak really good Japanese.] Yeah, I am. You're a foreigner, right? I don't see many in Azumano. [Just really weird people.]

I thought your name sounded Japanese! You're right though, I'm from Italy. I've just visited Japan a few times.

Wow, Italy! That's really far... All the old buildings must look really interesting. There's a lot of art history there, too.

Yeah, there is a lot of history and culture if you know where to look. [That is said with some pride]

Yeah, you could say that. My family... um... collects art. But mostly I like looking at it. Azumano has some pretty big museums in it, and the buildings downtown look a little like pieces of Italy, or so I'm told.

That's surprising, although it would be nice to find a piece of Italy in Japan. I only have a small art collection myself, mostly stuff my grandfather..found. What type of art do you like?

Um... I like all kinds of art! Even the abstract stuff is really interesting if you look at the technique. My favorite is portraits, though.
